Join us for an inspiring and dynamic episode from Rollup & AppChain Day, hosted by Zeeve at ETHDenver 2025! This special video features two standout segments — a heartfelt performance with Idon Li (Co-Founder, Pentagon Games) and an in-depth technical discussion with David from Web3 Foundation on the future of parachains, JAM, and the Polkadot ecosystem.

🎵 Segment 1 (Idon Li)
Experience Idon Li stepping away from the usual Web3 hustle for a spontaneous and soulful rendition of "What a Wonderful World" — a beautiful reminder of the joy, optimism, and passion fueling the Web3 space. 🌍🎶
He opens up about life balance, global adventures, meditation, gaming, and staying energized through meaningful, authentic connections.

🛠️ Segment 2 (David, Web3 Foundation)
We then dive deep with David as he unpacks:
🔹 The evolution of Polkadot parachains and the significance of JAM protocol
🔹 How Zeeve’s Parachain Automation Toolkit (Peruse) is streamlining chain deployment
🔹 The importance of seamless flexibility between EVM & non-EVM environments

00:00Hi everyone, I have Osman from Polygon today with me and we are here at the Zeev's AppChain and Rollup Day.
00:10Everybody knows about Polygon but we are going to talk about with Osman today on what is coming on Polygon.
00:16We already know about AgLair. In fact, at Zeev we have built so many rollups on Polygon CDK
00:21and now we are integrating those into the AgLair for the finest and the most futuristic interop solutions.
00:27But though AgLair is not just about CDK chains, it's more than that. It's a versatile universal solution.
00:34So I would ask Osman you about what is the future of AgLair? How do you or Polygon envision it?
00:40Totally. Great question. Polygon's number one focus is to contribute to and grow the AgLair at the moment.
00:47And just as an intro, AgLair is a zero-knowledge based technology that intends to connect layer 1s and layer 2 blockchains.
00:55The end goal is to create a connected Web3. Everything that Polygon ships kind of speaks to how AgLair can grow.
01:05Polygon POS, Polygon CDK, different CDK chains that we are collaborating on, Polygon ZK, EVM.
01:12All of these technologies and chain environments are intending to grow the asset diversity and users on the AgLair that benefit from the AgLair.
01:22AgLair is very agnostic in terms of who can use the technology.
01:28So CDK is an easy way to leverage the AgLair because all CDK chains are natively integrated with the AgLair.
01:38At the same time, a lot of core contributors are working on how AgLair can be connected to different ecosystems as well.
01:46Not just Ethereum, outside of Ethereum like Solana, Avalanche and so on.
01:51So this is a pretty big focus for Polygon in 2025 and we're definitely not alone in this.
01:58Collaborating with Zeve heavily and there's a lot of other core contributors that are trying to bring this vision to reality.
02:05This vision is a great vision. We have already integrated a few chains like GPD, Thernoa, YRX into the AgLair and we know the benefits.
02:13Customers are already utilizing the LXLY bridge, you know, doing interrupt transactions.
02:18Beyond LXLY bridge, what does it take and leverage and benefit from AgLair in upcoming to three months or six months?
02:25So I think thinking about AgLair, the easiest framework is that AgLair has three core components.
02:33One is the shared bridge, which GAN is referring to as the LXLY bridge.
02:38The other one is the pessimistic proof and the third one is the toolkit.
02:42LXLY bridge simply allows chains, L2s to send assets between each other and L1s as well.
02:51Pessimistic proof is a technology that allows to verify the bridge of different chains.
03:01And this allows AgLair to connect to different environments.
03:05So it's essentially pessimistic proof, oversimplifying it.
03:08But it's a ZK based technology that does not guarantee necessarily the security of each environment, but it guarantees the security of the bridge environment of each blockchain.
03:20And this is how each chain connects to the AgLair.
03:23It connects to the AgLair.
03:24And lastly, Toolkit.
03:25Toolkit is super important because connecting to the AgLair has to be easy, SDKs and APIs.
03:32And anytime Zeev is connecting a CDK chain or another chain to the AgLair, Zeev has to use a few components of the Toolkit.
03:44So these three components make up the AgLair.
03:48And there's much more information on the Dock site actually, as the AgLair technology is being developed, the Dock sites are being updated on a daily basis.
03:59So as you can hear, this is bringing the future to today, but it'll become the future tomorrow.
04:05So we as a close partner working on AgLair, if you're building a chain, be it CDK or non-CDK, we can actually bring it to the Polygon AgLair and you can benefit from all those features of interoperability going forward.
04:17So thank you.
04:18Thank you, Osman.
04:19Thank you very much.
04:20Thank you so much.
04:21How's the vibe at Rollup and AppChain Day?
04:23AppChain, Rollup Day, great.
04:25This is actually my third time attending this event as the U-Team does a very ambitious event every time.
04:34It's one of the better events out there.
04:37I think the U-Team is super practical and focused on real life use cases.
04:41And that's helpful because sometimes we need to zoom out from infrastructure and zoom out from these complicated terminologies and talk about actual builders.
04:49So here in this event, there's a combination of infrastructure builders and enterprises that are testing their use cases or Web3 native builders that are actually building Web3 native interesting applications.
05:05So a very diverse set of people are attending.
05:10A lot of people here also come from a very strong understanding of why they need blockchains.
05:16It's not just about hype, but a lot of the builders that I spoke with here are very familiar with the architecture of their applications and come here with a strong understanding of whether certain parts of their architecture can be outsourced or made more efficient with the use of AppChains and Rollups.
05:37And CDK is one way to do that.
05:42And also, hopefully, app builders are interested in interoperability.
05:47So AgLayer is also a topic of conversation in the AppChain day.
05:52Yeah, thank you, Osman.
05:53And Polygon is doing a great job at making the Web3's future and taking it in the right direction.
05:57And I think interoperability is the next North Star.
06:00So let's chase it together.
06:01Thank you very much.
