00:00And in terms of the manager, Julian, Stefan's come in and you've not really properly seen his teammate other than pre-season.
00:07But what's he spoken about delivering in terms of style and what are you expecting to see?
00:11So, playing that from the back looks like what we're going to be doing.
00:16Attacking football is what they say, what they all say, right?
00:19Yeah, we want to be on the front foot. We want to get our teams. We don't want to sit back, stuff like that.
00:24I mean, you know, all the stuff that you hear from many managers, unless it was Gareth Bainsworth, who said that we were just going to defend the whole season.
00:33So, no, yeah, I mean, look, he speaks really well. He comes with a really good pedigree.
00:36He's won the French Cup. He's been in Europe with Rennes, Strasbourg, some really big teams in France.
00:42So, you know, they play three game weeks as well over there. So, he's got some experience there.
00:47His English is not the best. It's a bit broken.
00:50So, sometimes things get lost in transition and what he's trying to say.
00:53But, yeah, looking forward to seeing what he can bring.
00:58Yeah, I mean, Martin was really liked. You know, the fans loved him.
01:01I mean, not many managers could not win a game in 15 games and still be his name sung in the crowd, which is what he had.
01:08So, he'll be a difficult man to follow. But, yeah, looking forward to seeing what he can do.
01:12Yeah. Did his departure from the outside, it looked a little bit messy all going on?
01:15Was there a fallout from that or did he have moved on everyone?
01:19No, well, we just had a fans forum. But whatever happened is on the coat of daggers.
01:24It's legal. No one can't talk about it. So, something's obviously gone on. I think he's fallen out.
01:29So, a couple of things. I think him and the chief exec, Christian Norrie, DFO, they've fallen out a little bit.
01:36They've had different visions. And he was flirting with other jobs left, right and centre, really.
01:43You know, quite an ambitious manager. I think he wanted the Sunderland job in the Sunderland.
01:47I think he had his Burnley job. And then a couple of weeks before the season, he really wanted the West Brom job.
01:54Apparently, he was touting out. He put his name forward behind closed doors.
01:58And I think the club saw an opportunity, possibly also last straw, to put him on guard and leave.
02:05And we managed to get a bit of compensation for him in the end from Leicester, which was good.
02:09I think he was only out of 500k. But, you know, that was what we were fighting for.
02:13We didn't want to lose him for free.
02:15Yeah. And we spoke about what you've liked this summer.
02:18Where do you think the team's short at the minute? Where are you looking, thinking that could be an issue?
02:21So, we're short up front. We haven't got – not just because we haven't got anybody fit.
02:28I mean, we've played the last Pink Friendly games without a striker.
02:31So, we've played Cher up front, who's like five foot nothing, as a sort of false nine.
02:37We've got Mitchy Frey, big, bold lad. He's injured.
02:41Jan Seller, last summer's big, summer side. And he's been injured and had a daughter.
02:45So, he's not been around. Charlie Kelman's left.
02:48Our young strikers are injured. Collie and Alfie Lloyd.
02:54So, we've been woefully short. We've bought him Burrell.
02:57But he's sort of more of a winger. I mean, he can play up front, but I'm not sure where he'll play.
03:03So, we are woefully short up front. And certainly midfield as well.
03:07Number eight. I wanted Lewis O'Brien, the type of player like that, that could get the ball down and get stuck in.
03:14But, yeah. So, like I said, I imagine that we'll probably, we'll make some signings.
03:19Yeah. Who do you reckon up top then on Saturday? Because Collie, look, he came on and made a massive impact.
03:24He has those last season at Loftus Road and Frey was a handful.
03:27Yeah. Yeah. They both came on and did really well, didn't they, away when we beat you last minute.
03:32But Collie's quality, he's only 19, he's Algerian, he's massive, he can play, but he just never fit me, which is just so frustrating.
03:41And Collie is the same. You can never get sort of, you never get a run of games with either of them.
03:47So, I think up front will probably be Burrell, the guy that we bought from Burton.
03:51Yeah.
03:51Unless something happens in the next day or today or tomorrow, there's rumours that we're signing someone.
03:56But like we said before this, I mean, you know, everyone's in the know, right?
04:00Yeah.
