00:00You may be wondering if you're going to be able to find the perfect words to share the
00:10gospel. Guess what, the pressure's not on you. The Word of God tells us that when we
00:16share the good news, the Holy Spirit will help you, even speak through you. Matthew
00:2210 verse 19 and 20 says that God will give you the right words at the right time. For
00:29it is not you who will be speaking, it will be the Spirit of your Father speaking through
00:34you. Proclaiming the gospel doesn't mean walking around with a sermon stuffed in your back
00:39pocket, necessarily. It's just saying the good news which is, God loves you. He does
00:46have a wonderful plan for your life. And if you're honest and you repent and humble yourself
00:52and believe, you will be forgiven and become a child of God. He will never leave you.
00:59He's offering you eternal life through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
01:05Hey that's a good deal. Why not proclaim it? It's not your job to brilliantly persuade everybody,
01:12merely to joyfully represent and present the good news. It's life changing. We can get
01:18so hung up on wondering. If we will offend people or make them feel uncomfortable. The truth is,
01:25we're probably the ones who feel the most uncomfortable. Even though we may stammer,
01:31feeling awkward about what to say, the Holy Spirit has it handled. He will give us the right
01:37words and lead us to proclaim them at the right time. All we have to do is follow his lead.
01:43What is the worst that could happen? If someone says they're not interested, is that really a big deal?
01:49Isn't it worth the risk to offer them a chance to receive eternal life? Be encouraged to do it and
01:56do not be afraid. But also, don't wait to feel perfectly comfortable or completely brave,
02:03or you may never speak up. Christ has already called and commanded that we share his good news,
02:09so let's do it even when we're afraid. 2 Corinthians 5 verse 19 through 20 says,
02:15For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against
02:23them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ's ambassadors.
02:30God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead with people, saying,
02:36Come back to God. Will you let God make his appeal through you?
