00:00Danny, at the deadline, the Cubs were favored to win the Central.
00:04This was like a week ago or two, I mean, less than 10 days ago.
00:08And the Brewers are now up to minus 185.
00:12Let me repeat, the Cubs at the deadline, like minus, not a lot, minus 110, 115.
00:17They're now plus 155.
00:20Yeah, look, you know, all season I've been saying the ceiling for this Cubs team
00:25is winning one round in the postseason.
00:27And with that being said, I still had a lot of confidence in them to win the division.
00:32But there was the asterisk next to that is that what are they going to do near the deadline?
00:36And clearly, they didn't do enough.
00:38And this is just like classic NL Central where the Cubs are feisty.
00:42But then the Brewers or the Cardinals, a team like that gets really hot in the second half of the season
00:46and overtakes the Cubs position.
00:48And we're seeing that play in real time right now.
00:51I mean, the fact that the Brewers are as hot as they are is just remarkable, Craig.
00:55And it seems like there's no stop to them while the Cubs are obviously on the decline the other way.
00:59So I would like to say that it's worth taking a stab on the Cubbies because of that plus money price
01:05that we haven't seen all year.
01:06But again, the Cubs are just not putting anything on the table that would warrant you to wanting to do that.
01:12So there's not really any value at this point because you certainly don't want to lay minus a buck 85 or so with Milwaukee.
01:17Unfortunately, until the Cubs prove otherwise, you're kind of just staying away from these odds.
01:22But it is crazy how quick that that flip-flop with the Brewers now a pretty heavy favorite.
