00:00This question is for Gus Winston.
00:04Okay, over there. Right there. Great.
00:08Okay. Bringing us home.
00:12Peter's going to try and dive under. He's a veteran. He can
00:16go under a... I just wanted to know if you think
00:20that the presidential pardon should be limited.
00:24So,
00:28you know, my feeling is
00:32that is a quirk of history
00:34that does not make sense
00:36in America for either party,
00:38for any reason.
00:40Right? To me,
00:42it is just a strange thing
00:44that the President of the United States
00:46has a few extra chits
00:48in their pocket to give away.
00:50And while, of course, if someone was wrongly imprisoned
00:52or shouldn't be there,
00:54I don't wish them in jail.
00:56But right now, I mean, the President is,
00:58of course, having this conversation
01:00with this woman
01:02related to the Epstein files.
01:04Right? Ghislaine Maxwell.
01:06She's been moved to a low-security prison.
01:08You know that they are having conversations
01:10about a pardon. Now,
01:12they're having conversations in year one
01:14of his presidency, not
01:16the end of his presidency,
01:18which is what you typically see.
01:20They thought it was controversial
01:22with President Biden, too.
01:24It was controversial with everyone
01:26that Obama or Clinton or Bush did.
01:28So, to me, it's just this weird
01:30kind of, literally,
01:32get-out-of-jail-free card
01:34that, I just think, muddies the waters.
01:36And when you have a President
01:38who has a deep, deep problem
01:40with corruption,
01:42it just can be taken to such
01:44a dangerous degree
01:46that he's letting out pedophiles
01:48and criminals, violent people,
01:50because he's paying back favors
01:52to others. I just can't support that.
01:54So, if we could get rid of it for everybody,
01:56I would be thrilled.
01:58Okay, I'm gonna wrap it up.
