00:00There are a lot of new things coming to Korea for FC26.
00:03A brand new way to play called Manager Live,
00:06with challenges that test your ability to recreate famous managerial achievements
00:09or complete themed objectives.
00:12An active manager market with sackings, caretakers, dynamic manager ratings
00:16and unique opportunities to take over at new clubs.
00:19An overhauled gameplay experience called Authentic Gameplay,
00:23tailored specifically to making Korea realistic.
00:25The introduction of unexpected events, based on the twists and turns of modern football.
00:31And an overhaul to analytics that equips you with deeper stats
00:34across different leagues and multiple seasons.
00:37Let's talk first about Manager Live, starting with all new challenges.
00:41Think of these as careers centred around specific goals or storylines.
00:45We know our community already sets these types of challenges for themselves,
00:49crafting unique narratives by building careers around certain accomplishments.
00:53With Manager Live, you'll now be rewarded for reaching those goals
00:57and be inspired to take on new challenges and create new stories.
01:01You'll see a variety of challenges throughout the year.
01:03Some might be short, like navigating five people to matches at the end of a season.
01:08Or, take several seasons to complete, like recreating a historic triple promotion.
01:14Sometimes, you'll be asked to select a specific club or league
01:17to recreate an authentic accomplishment.
01:19Or, be given total freedom to choose your favourite club.
01:23Ensuring there's something for every type of player.
01:26You'll be able to have numerous challenges active at the same time,
01:29in addition to your other career saves.
01:32And if you've fallen in love with your team, after you've reached your goals,
01:35you can simply continue playing that career.
01:38When you complete a challenge, you'll progress along the season pass ladder,
01:42earning rewards across all game modes,
01:44including a variety of vanity items like retro kits.
01:46And something we know you've been asking for,
01:49new kits for your creator club careers.
01:52You'll also earn rewards for an all-new mode,
01:55manage a career with icons and heroes,
01:57which gives you the opportunity to mix eras and manage some of the all-time greats.
02:01As you set up your career, you'll be able to fill your squad with any icon or hero that you've earned so far.
02:07And with the Ultimate Edition, you'll receive three more icons at launch to kickstart your careers.
02:13Manager Market is another big innovation this year,
02:16and something you've been keen to see introduced.
02:17You'll now be able to view every league to see which positions are open,
02:22how likely you are to be considered for that job,
02:24or even which managers are at risk,
02:26so you can target their club as a future opportunity.
02:28From here, you'll watch the manager carousel unfold,
02:31with managers getting the sack for poor form or failing club objectives.
02:36We're also introducing caretaker managers,
02:38who oversee the role for a limited time after a departure,
02:41and with the right results,
02:43they'll even be able to earn the job on a full-time basis.
02:45Clubs will appoint managers using the same principles that we see in football,
02:50approaching candidates with similar pedigrees and tactical styles.
02:53Manager movement won't be rare.
02:55In fact, it'll be about as common as it is in the real world.
02:59And while Manager Market will be your go-to place for all manager news and info,
03:02you'll also hear commentary as you enter matches
03:04that alert you to managers in trouble,
03:07making their debut and more.

03:11As we mentioned in our gameplay deep dive,
03:13Korea now has its own dedicated gameplay experience called Authentic Gameplay,
03:18tailored specifically to deliver the immersive,
03:20true-to-football experience our career players want.
03:23In addition to refining the gameplay fundamentals,
03:26from goalkeeping and tackling,
03:28to passing, pace and physicality,
03:30we've recalibrated a number of specific details
03:33to make authentic gameplay responsive, realistic and enjoyable.
03:36Rebounds, blocks and bounces will all be governed by physics
03:41to create more authentic and sometimes unpredictable moments.
03:45Your AI teammates will keep tighter defensive lines
03:47and be more compact in the midfield.
03:50Tackles, headers and corners will feel true to real-world success rates.
03:54Every detail has been geared towards that feeling of immersion,
03:57making sure that authentic gameplay lives up to its name
04:00and your feedback for how Korea should play.
04:02And for those who prefer the feel of competitive gameplay,
04:05you'll still be able to toggle your career experience
04:08between the two different gameplay presets.
04:11Unexpected events also new this year
04:13and like Manager Market,
04:15they're built to deliver more of the variety,
04:17excitement and unpredictability we see in real-world football.
04:21Each unexpected event will test you in different ways as a manager.
04:24Some events affect you financially.
04:27A budget malfunction could freeze your funds for a limited amount of time
04:30or a new behind-the-scenes documentary at your club
04:33could leave you with fresh cash to spend.
04:35Other events affect your dressing room.
04:37A wage leak could cause unrest
04:39or you could find yourself in a contract showdown with a star player.
04:43Each unexpected event is an opportunity to step up
04:46and make the right choices to navigate whatever comes your way.
04:49It's important to note, however,
04:51that unexpected events are optional.
04:53When you start a career,
04:54you'll be able to choose how frequently they happen
04:56or turn them off entirely.
04:57We've overhauled stat tracking this year based on your feedback.
05:02You'll now be able to see in-depth data
05:04for up to five leagues of your choice,
05:06from top goal scorers and assist makers
05:08to match ratings, clean sheets and more.
05:11And you can assign scouts as you look through the data
05:14so you don't miss out on players you discover through the analytics.
05:18Now, data from the previous year will also be available,
05:21allowing you to identify trends and track progress.
05:23We want a realistic career.
