Das neue GTA Online -Update » A Safehouse in the Hills«  erscheint am 10. Dezember und wurde am Wochenende von Rockstar mit einem richtigen Trailer und einem detaillierten Blogeintrag vorgestellt. Die kostenlose Erweiterung ermöglicht es euch, teure Luxus-Immobilien in den Vinewood Hills , dem Hollywood von Los Santos zu kaufen.      Der eigentliche Star des Updates sind jedoch nicht die schicken Villen. Denn der Trailer kündigt die Rückkehr eines aus der Story-Kampagne von GTA 5 bekannten Gesichts an: Bankräuber Michael De Santa wird mit A Safehouse in the Hills nach 12 Jahren sein Debüt in GTA Online feiern. Damit bestätigt Rockstar indirekt ein neues kanonisches Ende für GTA 5 , bei dem alle drei Protagonisten am Leben sind!
