00:01:50We're live from the Soda Target Center downtown of the Twin Cities in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
00:01:56Tony Schiavone, the living legend Larry Sabitzko, and the professor Mike Tenet.
00:02:02What a scene a week ago it was, ladies and gentlemen, when Eric Bischoff was taken away by security.
00:02:10And what will transpire here tonight?
00:02:13That's one of the big questions in the world of wrestling, because we are in Minnesota.
00:02:18We are in the town where Ric Flair was born and raised.
00:02:23As we're off and running with three hours of Nitro, we'll be talking a lot about that.
00:02:28We'll be talking, of course, about Halloween Havoc coming up this Sunday,
00:02:33as the countdown is on to the big one at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
00:02:42We do have some information to pass along to you.
00:02:45We think it's very pertinent to what you just saw.
00:02:48And that is the horsemen we understand are on their way to the arena.
00:02:53Eric Bischoff, obviously a week removed from what happened in Chicago, is here.
00:02:59And that, I would think, sets the scene for what should be an explosive confrontation later on in this program, Mike.
00:03:06Well, Tony, one would certainly think so.
00:03:07It was a great moment in Nitro history last Monday in Chicago.
00:03:12As Tony just mentioned, this evening here in Minneapolis, we're in the hometown of the Nature Boy Ric Flair.
00:03:17This is the city where he trained to be a professional wrestler.
00:03:20And something tells me that Minneapolis is certainly for horsemen country also.
00:03:24Let's take a look at some footage from Nitro, one week removed.
00:03:27Let's take a roll of the tape right now and show you exactly once again what went down.
00:03:32It's kind of a capsule of what happened.
00:03:34That's right.
00:03:35Bruce Werch McArthur, a member of the Werch family, owners of the Blackhawks.
00:03:40They owned the United Center, and they pulled the big power play.
00:03:44And it all comes down to power.
00:03:46It all comes down to who thinks he's in charge.
00:03:48And then when Eric, living legend, went and shoved Bruce McArthur,
00:03:53that's when he got in trouble.
00:03:55Well, you've got to ask yourself, why is Eric Bischoff fear the return of Ric Flair in the Horsemen?
00:04:02Why is he trying his best to stop Ric Flair from coming back?
00:04:07Because the Horsemen are a tradition.
00:04:12They're an organization that can help triple the new world order.
00:04:17No, I want him out of here.
00:04:19There was the push.
00:04:20And that touched off a scene like we've never seen in our sport.
00:04:26And a couple of things to keep your eye on during the course of this was the reaction of
00:04:30Dillinger, the reaction of Flair that we saw earlier.
00:04:33And this is just a joyous scene for this event.
00:04:36I am the president.
00:04:38It's all about power, isn't it, Tony?
00:04:40And it was great to see the general step up to the plate and finally see Eric Bischoff
00:04:47one-upped in that game of power.
00:04:50So, as we said, the Horsemen on the way here.
00:04:52Bischoff is here.
00:04:54Could be a monumental confrontation in the making here on WCW Money Nitro this Monday.
00:05:00We know what they say, talking about the power of the pen.
00:05:03Every time you turn around, somebody has a bigger pen than you.
00:05:08And how about the Nature Boy, Ric Flair, this past Thursday on Thunder?
00:05:11Coming right out and telling Eric Bischoff that he wants Eric's job.
00:05:16He wants to run World Championship Wrestling.
00:05:20Well, I agree with that.
00:05:22I think he should.
00:05:24Kenny Chaos, one half of a high voltage.
00:05:29And this is the opening battle.
00:05:30Look at this Target Center.
00:05:31And it's not our first trip here.
00:05:34But I tell you, it was a venue, an event that was sold out for quite a while.
00:05:38Once tickets went on sale, this should be a very interesting matchup.
00:05:42Tony, this event actually sold out in one hour's time.
00:05:46If you can believe that, this huge Target Center is just jammed to the rafters.
00:05:50Capacity crowd on hand for Nitro.

00:05:56And another event that is sold out, of course, is this coming Sunday at the MGM Grand Garden
00:06:01Arena in Las Vegas.
00:06:02The only way you can see that on pay-per-view on satellite TV.

00:06:07There was a direct clothesline found in the jaw of Saturn.

00:07:46phenomenal with great matches.
00:07:48We've got the makings of what could go down as one of our better Cruiserweight
00:07:51matches ever.
00:07:53As Kidman, the Cruiserweight champ, will defend against Rey Mysterio Jr.
00:07:58During the conference program.
00:07:59That's the returning Rey Mysterio Jr.
00:08:01He's been on the shelf with knee surgery for the past few months.
00:08:04That and a whole lot more as we head now toward Halloween Havoc.
00:08:08As we said, we are now only six days out.
00:08:12And the world awaits the biggest return match ever, Hollywood Hogan and
00:08:17The Warrior going at it for only the second time in their spectacular careers.
00:08:22Look at the power of Chaos.
00:08:24Chaos, big strong guy, but taking a long time trying to throw Saturn over here.
00:08:29And I don't know, it looks like he hurt his elbow or something.
00:08:32I think he tried to lift him up in that gorilla press slam move.
00:08:35Saturn fighting him off, and now Saturn comes back with a series of right hands before he's
00:08:39reversed into the corner by Chaos.
00:08:41Chaos slipped in or sent him, and Saturn hit his forehead on the metal turnbuckle that time.
00:08:48And Chaos just trying to use the power.
00:08:50But one thing we've known about Saturn is his resiliency.
00:08:54How he can take a lot of punishment and come back.
00:08:57And we're seeing a little bit of that right now in the corner.
00:09:02Saturn's ending, Chaos, oh, nice shot in the mouth.

00:09:13Watch out, Chaos, he's keeping it aggressive here.
