00:00I think what we've seen from reform as we're seeing with the Labour Party is putting out
00:04unfunded spending commitments, talking about nationalising huge swathes of the economy in
00:11terms of utility companies, refusing to back welfare savings and in fact wanting to increase
00:17welfare. So if you're a conservative leaning voter then reform is actually showing itself to be
00:21quite left-wing on some of the economic issues and the agenda that Kemi Beynok is setting out
00:28is about we as a country have to live within our means. Labour's borrowing spending and taxing and
00:34that is not sustainable. We need to have a proper conversation about what the state can provide but
00:39at the moment it looks like the government's going to raise taxes again come the autumn which will put
00:43more pressure on growth in the economy and then lead to more borrowing. We could get into a debt
00:48spiral. That's the warning we're putting out at the moment.
