HUBUNGAN EKONOMI INDONESIA-KORSEL DIPERERAT - ECONOMIC UPDATE
Transcript
00:00South Korea is one of the developed countries in the Asian region that can be an important economic partner for Indonesia.
00:08House of Representatives member Anggia R. Marini pushed for strengthening economic relations between Indonesia and South Korea.
00:17Korea's economic progress can be a source of learning for Indonesia, so that the Indonesian economy can become more advanced and develop in the Asian region.
00:25Chairperson of Commission 6 of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Anggia R. Marini, emphasized the importance of strategic relations between Indonesia and South Korea, especially in strengthening the national economic sector.
00:37He conveyed this during a meeting with the Chairman of the National Policy Committee, Mr. Yun Han Hong and his staff.
00:45According to Anggia, South Korea is a major investor in Indonesia, ranking seventh on the list of countries with the largest investments in the country in the last five years.
00:58Not only from the investment side, Anggia also asked Indonesia to learn a lot from the technological progress of the Ginseng country, which has long been known as one of the centers of digital innovation and the global manufacturing industry.
01:10South Korea's technology is incredibly good, so Indonesia needs to learn from it. Coincidentally, they also have a field of work focused on fair business competition.
01:26This is the same as what Commission 6 is doing, which is currently revising the KPPU Law.
01:33And what's more interesting, in my opinion, is that going forward, there needs to be a more detailed discussion. We don't have much time, but there needs to be a more detailed discussion about what can be invested in, what can be done together for economic growth in Indonesia in particular.
01:51Anggia added that this meeting is expected to be a strategic momentum to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation, as well as encourage investment and collaboration in the technology sector and business competition regulations between Indonesia and South Korea.
