00:00Viewers, the deactivation of BPJS participant data for the aid recipient pathway has received attention from member of Commission 9 of the House of Representatives, Edy Wuryanto.
00:09The Central Java DAPIL politician assessed that the BPJS Board of Directors' policy was very inappropriate.
00:15Edy requested that the list of names that are currently deactivated be reactivated by further examining the conditions of citizen participation.
00:23This health insurance is important to be able to reach all levels of society, including the less fortunate.
00:32The implementation of the policy of deactivating the data of 7.3 million participants receiving National Health Insurance Contribution (IUAN) or PBI assistance has received criticism from Commission 9 of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
00:41This policy is considered inconsistent with existing regulations and has instead caused unrest in society.
00:46Member of Commission 9 of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Edy Wuryanto, assessed that Presidential Instruction Number 4 of 2025, which requires a single data system, is appropriate, but implementation in the field is still far from expectations.
00:57This could be data from participants who are no longer active, deceased, etc., which needs to be cleansed, or it could include data from poor people who are included in the cleansing process. This is dangerous.
01:13And that will reduce poor people's access to health services, which is dangerous.
01:18In fact, the health of poor people is the state's obligation.
01:22So, the data on these 7.3 million people must be reactivated, must be reactivated.
01:32Well, who did that?
01:34Because these are poor people, the government is the one who is proactive.
01:37Don't tell the poor to activate their data, they should go to the community health center or BPJS office to activate their data, that's not how it is.
01:47But the government is active, because this is the state's obligation, and the law says so.
01:53Furthermore, Edy encouraged the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Social Services Agency, and BPJS Kesehatan to immediately coordinate on the use of data from regional governments.
02:01including from the Village Head and Sub-district Head, to speed up verification of the status of participants who are eligible to receive assistance.
02:07He also reminded that if the data is not immediately corrected, it will not only be the poor who will be harmed,
02:12but it also has the potential to cause financial problems for BPJS Kesehatan in the future.
