00:00Tired of endless annoying ads in the YouTube mobile app? You've come to the

00:06right place. In this video I'm going to discuss NewPipe, which is an open source

00:10completely ad-free way to watch YouTube videos in a mobile device in Android. So

00:17this is just a video from Louis Rossman, a content creator I like, and this here

00:24is an annoying ad. Thankfully it's not in the video itself, but many times

00:29let's say a 15-minute video might have at least two ads and many times are very

00:34annoying. And with the YouTube mobile app, unless you have a basically a pro

00:39account, there's no way to avoid watching the ads. But with a new thing called NewPipe

00:46you can. So you can search for NewPipe and then you'll have the NewPipe website and

00:51the GitHub page and the FDroid page. On the main page you can click on get NewPipe

00:59and then you can click on, this should download the APK and you can install it

01:03on your own computer. Again it's just for Android for now, maybe eventually it would

01:08go for iOS. And there's also a GitHub page and it's got over 34,000 stars, so it's

01:17pretty popular. And if you're so interested you can build the APK yourself if

01:21you know how to do that with code. And you can also download it from the FDroid, the

01:31FDroid App Store, if you prefer to have a way to more easily update and so on like

01:41Google, like the Google Play Store or App Store in iOS. And this is what the app looks like

01:48after you install it. So you can basically watch any YouTube video and you can search

01:58for content creators you like. For example here, this was the content creator that I

02:07had shown and you can click on this and you can watch the same videos that you can

02:14watch in the YouTube App Store, the YouTube app, the main app. Here you can subscribe and

02:22you can have a list of all the people you subscribe to and your subscriptions there. So you're not

02:28actually subscribing via your YouTube account. You don't need a Google account, but you can

02:33subscribe with the app so it's just for yourself. And then that's me, that's my account. And then

02:42let's say again, you wanted to go watch this person's video. So this is his most recent video. And then

02:49you can watch the video, you can press play and so on. Okay, so this was about NewPipe. I hope you
