Instagram and TikTok stars Outback Tom and Grandad teach how to make a delicious lemon cake.

00:00This is how to make lemon cake, bush style.

00:02This is one of the tastiest lemon cakes I've ever had.

00:05250 grams of butter, one cup of caster sugar, grab your lemon and grate some zest.

00:11And give it a mix till creamy.

00:13Add in four eggs, giving it a mix after each egg.

00:15Add in a cup and a quarter of self-raising flour, mix it through, and then 100 ml of lemon juice.

00:21Grab your cake, tin, and pour the mixture in.

00:23Into the drum oven, get some coals on top.

00:26For the icing, a cup of icing sugar and a good squeeze of that lemon.

00:30Finish it off with some rind and give it a mix.

00:32After half an hour, take the coals off, and how good is that?

00:36And then poke some holes in the cake.

00:38And get that icing on top.

00:39And for the final piece, a bit of coconut on top.

00:42Okay, I'm going to have a taste.

00:45Wonderful.

00:46Well, this is the best lemon cake I've eaten in a while.
