WINDIES LEGENDS LOSE TO INDIA

It's not just the senior team struggling, the West Indies legends are also feeling the heat after being knocked out of the World Championship of Legends after falling to India in Leicester.  Kieron Pollard fought hard with an unbeaten 74 to push the Windies to 144 for 9, but it wasn't enough as India, led by Stuart Binny's 50 not out, chased it down with ease to book their spot in the semi-finals.

00:05And it was a poor start by the Windies as skipper Chris Gayle was bowled by Varun Aron for 9.

00:10Legspin of Pius Chawla did major damage with the ball.

00:12New TKR coach Duane Bravo was among those who failed to make an impact with the bat.

00:17Chawla was the best bowler with 3 for 18 from his 4 overs.

00:23All-rounder Stuart Binney was also frugal and ended with 2 for 17 from his full quota.

00:31Karen Pollard was the one to bring some respectability to the innings.

00:37He smashed 74 not out of 43 balls to take the West Indies to 144 for 9.

00:43When India responded, opener Shikhar Dhawan chipped in with 25.

00:49Duane Smith picked up 2 wickets in the innings to make it 50 for 3.
