00:04The United States withdrew its negotiation team from the talks aiming to achieve a ceasefire

00:09between Hamas and Israel late on Thursday.

00:12The negotiations in Qatar were cut short after U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff accused Hamas

00:18of a lack of desire to achieve a ceasefire.

00:21Israel also withdrew its team in a move that is seen as a coordinated attempt to put pressure

00:26on Hamas.

00:27We are working to get another deal to release our hostages, but if Hamas perceives our willingness

00:35to reach a deal as a weakness, as an opportunity to dictate lines of defeat that will endanger

00:40Israel, it is greatly mistaken.

00:46The last ceasefire deal dates back to January and was broken in March by Israel.

00:52Meanwhile, humanitarian conditions in Gaza are worsening as Israel restricts aid deliveries
