Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has died at 71 years old, TMZ Sports has learned.

00:02TMZ Sports broke a story this morning.

00:07Hulk Hogan is dead.

00:08Dead at 71 of a heart attack.

00:13The paramedics came to his home in Florida

00:15and they got a cardiac arrest call.

00:20They tried resuscitating him,

00:22taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

00:26Our cameras were rolling about an hour ago

00:30from when I'm talking to you now

00:31when all of this came down.

00:35Here's how it looked.

00:37Is there any way I can talk to him?

01:16I did a show with him called Objectified

01:19about eight years ago.

01:21And we went through his whole life

01:24and it is an unbelievable life.

01:26In fact, what I want to add here is

01:28what's amazing about Hulk.

01:34He had scores of surgeries

01:37as a result of wrestling injuries.

01:43I've had 17 surgeries

01:45in the last 10 years.

01:47Oh, my God.

01:48My knees,

01:49I've had three or four surgeries

01:50on my knees,

01:50each knee before I had them replaced.

01:52What's not original here?

01:54The knees are fake.

01:55The hips are fake.

01:57The back's full of metal

01:59and part of my face is full of metal.

02:03I've still got, like, teeth marks

02:05on my finger.

02:06There's an eye tooth there

02:07with teeth marks

02:08of people trying to bite my fingers.

02:10Had my eye reconstructed

02:11a couple of times

02:12from getting hit in the face

02:13and in the face.

02:15Nose broken 13 times.

02:16All these teeth,

02:17these fake teeth

02:18have been knocked out six times.

02:19So it's been a wild ride.

02:24That was a huge moment.

02:26Hulk was the star

02:28of the 2024 Republican National Convention

02:34when he set the room ablaze

02:40with theatrics.

02:41What happened last week

02:43when they took a shot

02:45at my hero?

02:50And they tried to kill

02:54of the United States.

02:56Enough was enough.

02:59And I said,

03:40I mean, he's had so many medical issues.

03:42But I think the question is,

03:43was it right?

03:43We know his neck is awful.

03:45We have no idea if it's connected.

03:47Right, right.

03:47Was he having physical ailments

03:48or was he having real health problems?

03:50Were there heart issues?

03:51His guy told me this morning,

03:52and his guy was not in good shape.

03:54Like I said,

03:54his guy is devastated, clearly.

03:55But he said he had been having health issues

03:57and that he stopped breathing this morning.

04:00And obviously we now know

04:01it's cardiac arrest.

04:02But I don't know.

04:04I think that's the question.

04:05What has been going on with Hulk?

04:06Clearly he was not in great health.

04:08He transformed wrestling.

04:10Wrestling was a very narrow sport

04:12before Hulk,

04:14where it was not for families at all.

04:17It was, you know,

04:18mostly just guys watched it.

04:20And he made it an entertainment sport.

04:23And he was so entertaining and theatrical.

04:27You know, kids started coming.

04:28Women started coming.

04:30And it transformed it into what it is today.

04:32So he was really critical for that.

04:35He was a movie star in Rocky III.

04:39Thunderlips, that was an iconic character.

04:42His reality show, Hulk Knows Best,

04:45was just a huge show on VH1.

04:49And he had downs.

04:50I mean, remember, there was a sex tape

04:53that Gawker released

04:55where Hulk was using racist language.

04:59And they stripped him of his Hall of Fame title

05:04from WWE.

05:05And he really hit the skids with that.

05:08And he really clawed his way back

05:10to revive himself and show the, you know, contrition.

05:14And they reinstated him in the Hall of Fame

05:18as a member of the New World Order,

05:21which is his villain title.

05:24So he really has had really quite the life.

05:28He was an entrepreneur,

05:30lived around Orlando

05:32for most of the last 20, 30 years.

05:36But I'll tell you,

05:36when I did Objectified with him,

05:38he was really candid with me about everything.

05:40And we talked about the sex tape and the racism.

05:42We talked about everything.

05:44And he said, look, just let me have it.

05:46Just talk to me about everything.

05:47And I did.

05:48And it was really,

05:50it was a memorable moment for me,

05:53really having been able to sit down with him.

05:56He was a force.

05:59And, God, I mean,

06:01I used to call him,

06:03and I mean, I just loved hearing,

06:04hey, brother.

06:05And, I mean, he did this all day.

06:07I mean, he did that to everybody.

06:09But I just loved hearing that from him.

06:12And, I mean, he did that to me.
