00:00Hillary Clinton's back in the good books, is what President Trump has said.
00:03But unfortunately for Barack Obama, he's now on the receiving end.
00:06I guess Joe Biden is off the table in terms of having a go at him.
00:09But treason is a strong word to use, a very strong word to use.
00:13Michael, if there is truth to these claims,
00:16is Obama correct in thinking that this is a distraction technique if there's not truth?
00:20But what if there is truth?
00:21So the key word is treason, and I think that that is one of Donald Trump's verbal tells.
00:27Yes. Not fewer than 12 people has he accused over the years of treason.
00:35When he wants to deflect and he wants to go on the attack and he wants to control the narrative,
00:42it's one of the words that comes up quite often with him,
00:45where he will make sure that people recognize,
00:48because treason is a capital offense in the States, people can be put to death.
00:52And so when a sitting president uses that against a former president,
00:58that is going to 100% take over the news cycle for at least a day or two.
01:05The issue that he faces are the Epstein files.
01:09And while there is going to be a summer recess now,
01:12he's going to have to keep people distracted for six weeks,
01:16so that by the time politicians in the States come back into session,
01:23they will hopefully, in Donald Trump's opinion,
01:26no longer be focused on the Epstein files.
