00:00Hey, it's People N10.
00:05This week, we're mourning legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne
00:08and remembering his legacy in his own words.
00:12I just plod along, you know.
00:15I mean, survival is my legacy.
00:19Never give up.
00:20If you've got a passion for something,
00:23you've got to find a way around it to carry on the passion.
00:27Here we are, 50-odd years later, I'm still doing it.
00:29It reminds me, it keeps me young at heart, you know.
00:33My life has been just incredible,
00:35the things that's happened to me, both good and bad.
00:39And one of the best was his family.
00:41Six kids, 10 grandkids,
00:43and his wife of over 40 years, Sharon.
00:46Where did they go? Where did the years go?
00:49We never gave up on each other, really.
00:52I mean, you know, I wasn't a saint.
00:54Ozzy wasn't a saint.
00:55We're just meant to be.
00:57We're also still reeling from the shocking death of Malcolm Jamal Warner.
01:01He's being remembered by fans and co-stars alike,
01:03and will live on forever in roles like Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show.
01:07I've got everything I need.
01:09This week, Beyonce dedicated her website to him,
01:12and many others pay tribute to his talent, humor, and kindness.
01:16Malcolm died Sunday while swimming off the coast of Costa Rica,
01:19where he got caught in a high current and drowned.
01:22He survived by his wife and his young daughter.
01:25He was 54 years old.
01:27The fallout from the Coldplay kiss cam isn't over yet.
01:31And you might feel like it's getting hard to keep up,
01:33but I know just who to call.
01:35Hey, Mako, what's up?
01:37Hey, Jack. All right.
01:38We all saw the couple get caught cheating during the Coldplay concert,
01:41and that video spread like wildfire.
01:44What's the latest?
01:45This saga just keeps on going.
01:47You know, a man and a woman who are not married
01:50were caught hiding from the kiss cam on the Jumbotron.
01:53Chris Martin even said that's either an affair or y'all are just shy.
01:57And then the man in the video was revealed to be Andy Byron,
02:00the CEO of this tech company, Astronomer.
02:03He was placed on leave afterwards and then ultimately resigned altogether.
02:07A statement from the company acknowledged that this moment did not line up with their core values.
02:12And a new interim CEO at the company is this man named Pete DeJoy,
02:16who said that this has been an unusual and surreal situation,
02:20which I think we can agree with.
02:22Listen, the Internet's been having fun at their expense, rightfully so.
02:26But this is a good lesson also, and we shouldn't believe everything we read.
02:29Yeah, there have been a lot of memes, but also a lot of misinformation.
02:33You know how The Simpsons has foreshadowed a lot of real life events in the past?
02:36A lot of people saw this image that seemed like a similar situation on The Simpsons,
02:41but it was actually AI generated.
02:43However, that just shows how mainstream this whole thing has become.
02:46There was also a fake apology said to be from the CEO,
02:49even a rumor he planned to sue Coldplay.
02:52Not true.
02:53And then Internet sleuths started trying to identify the woman standing next to these two people in the video.
03:01They thought they identified her. They had it wrong.
03:04It's a whole mess.
03:05If they hadn't dipped out of the frame so dramatically,
03:08it wouldn't even have made it out of the stadium, I don't think.
03:11But it did.
03:12And Chris Martin has even joked at other Coldplay concerts that have happened since
03:16to warn people that they might be featured on the Jumbotron.
03:19Just don't cheat. That's the lesson.
03:21All right, friend. I'll talk to you later.
03:23All right. Bye-bye, Mako.
03:25Bye.
03:26If CBS thought they wouldn't be backlash after they canceled The Late Show, boy, were they wrong.
03:32And guess who's leading the charge?
03:34Stephen Colbert's competition.
03:36Jon Stewart broke his silence with an F-bomb-filled chant on his show.
03:40While on Colbert's show, a bunch of celebs showed up on the audience for support.
03:44We're talking Andy Cohen, Anderson Cooper, Adam Sandler, Christopher McDonald, John Oliver, and yes, even Stewart.
03:51To not want to be shy, Jimmy Kimmel also took shots at CBS and President Trump, who he blames for the whole mess.
03:57Meanwhile, CBS is sticking to its story that it was a financial decision only.
04:03From Brad summer to bride summer, that's how it went for Charlie XCX, who married the 1975's drummer, George Daniel, at a London town hall.
04:12And this Vivian Westwood dress is what she wore to do it.
04:16Their special day was casual, edgy, cool.
04:19And one word, brat. And fans are loving how it all felt so Charlie.
04:26Dawson's Creek fans, this one's for you.
04:28Joey Potter and Pacey Witter are still together, or at least reunited for a new project.
04:33I would hate to think that I fell in love with a moron.
04:35Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson were spotted shooting their new movie, Happy Hours in New York, which Katie is also directing.
04:42It's supposedly about young loves who reconnect as adults.
04:45Katie and I are very close.
04:46So that's just too perfect.
04:48And that's not the only reunion we're excited about.
04:51The Ted Lasso Gang is officially in production on the season four we never thought we'd get.
04:56It looks good already.
04:57And in even another reunion getting us talking.
05:02No, not that one.
05:04Although, now that you mention it, this is epic too.
05:06But what I meant was the Freakier Friday sequel, which celebrated its big premiere this week.
05:11And we had to celebrate by catching up with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, who say shooting this movie was a totally different vibe, especially now that Lindsay is a mom.
05:20I see things differently.
05:21I can see for my character, for Anna.
05:23She's a mom.
05:24I can relate to the things that moms relate to on screen now.
05:27And Jamie gushed like a proud mom herself when she reflected on watching Lindsay have a son.
05:32It's life changing.
05:33Yeah.
05:34And yet it also naturally softens you as a human because you are so focused on someone outside of yourself.
05:42Yeah.
05:43And that's also the beautiful part of motherhood.
05:46I've seen that in you off before we even started shooting.
05:49Yeah.
05:50Prince George reached a milestone on Tuesday.
05:52He turned 12 years old.
05:54I know what you're thinking.
05:55How is this baby already almost a teenager?
05:58His mom and dad stuck to tradition by dropping a brand new photo to mark the day.
06:02And we can expect to start seeing more of George as he gets older and his role as future king.
06:07But for now, William and Kate still want to protect his privacy so he can enjoy being a kid.
06:14Derek Hough is getting ready for his biggest dance yet because this duo is about to be a trio.
06:20He and his wife Hailey are expecting their first child and look at how happy they are to announce it.
06:25Now they tied the knot in 2023 and their first year of marriage was rough.
06:29Remember, Hailey almost died from a brain bleed and her recovery was long.
06:34So now they finally get to celebrate something happy instead.
06:38Congrats to them.
06:41Now it's to sit down with Molly Gordon and Logan Lerman.
06:43Hey, you two.
06:45Congrats on your new movie.
06:46Oh, hi.
06:47This movie is a wild ride.
06:49It's so unique.
06:50Without giving too much away, how would you describe this movie to a person of an older generation?
06:54I think it's about a miscommunication of a couple on their first trip away.
07:02I think you're great.
07:03I'm just not really looking for a relationship right now.
07:06I'm going to say exactly that, to be honest with you.
07:10That is a perfect summary for an older person.
07:14We're basically trapping an older person to go see the film and not know what it's about and discover.
07:19Yeah.
07:20It's a good time.
07:21You're being kind of crazy right now.
07:22I'm being crazy?
07:23I think unhinged romance looks good on both of you.
07:27Each of your characters have a specific point of view, and both of them defend their choices.
07:31In real life, what is the most unhinged thing you've ever done for love?
07:36Across the country for someone.
07:38For love.
07:39For love.
07:40For love.
07:41For not even love.
07:44For a good time.
07:45You know what I'm saying.
07:49I used to lure my now fiancé to hang out with me by getting really nice papayas and taking photos of them and sending them to her to try to get her to hang out with me.
08:03It sounds dirty when you say that.
08:06Get some really nice .
08:08These papayas, they were Hawaiian papayas.
08:11It was gorgeous.
08:13They're just delicious.
08:15But that was my most unhinged thing, because they were really expensive.
08:19I literally bought them online, and they'd come in a box with like four of them, and maybe one of them wouldn't survive, and they were perfect.
08:26And I would just send a really, it's almost like sending like a dirty pic, but it's like, it's of like really ripe fruit.
08:35And that was my most unhinged thing.
08:37Okay, so the papaya Lauren worked since you're now engaged, Logan.
08:43Did your fiancé Anna Corrigan get any funny ideas after watching this movie?
08:47Or is she not allowed to see your projects?
08:50She can watch them.
08:51I don't typically watch myself, but she's welcome to.
08:56It's all good.
08:57Anna's the best.
08:58She came to set, and yeah, they have like, she's an incredible creative in her own right.
09:04Yeah, she's the greatest.
09:06Molly, did you know that you wanted to work with Logan on this project?
09:09Did you have a favorite project of his?
09:11Logan was definitely my first choice for this project, and I've been a big fan of his, you know, since I saw Perks of Being a Wallflower.
09:18But I also love this movie, Shirley, that he did a couple years ago.
09:22It's completely underrated.
09:24Thank you so much.
09:25Speaking of fave projects, Molly, was Logan prodding you for the bear spoilers on set?
09:30No, he was pretty respectful, but you know, I shot my stuff for the bear before we shot this movie, which is crazy, because I shot it about a year ago.
09:40So, um...
09:41You told me a little bit.
09:42Yeah, I'm sorry.
09:43You did tell me a little bit.
09:44You're like, you told me everything.
09:45Yeah, I can't...
09:46Not everything, because I didn't want to know.
09:47I want to watch.
09:48I can't keep a secret.
09:49You two represent the next gen of movie stars.
09:53It's sort of a mind-bender to see you all grown up, Logan.
09:56What are both of your hopes and dreams for Hollywood?
09:58Ooh, I just want more original stories by new voices, more female directors, and I don't know, just any directors that are not straight work.
10:09white men getting to tell their stories.
10:12I want people to go to the movie theaters and support these smaller films.
10:18Um, and I want funny things, because as I was saying, the world is...
10:23I agree with all of that, by the way.
10:30He wants cut papayas.
10:32Yeah.
10:33I want papayas in movie theaters.
10:36Oh, gosh.
10:37Okay, we're gonna put 10 seconds on the clock.
10:41Tell everyone why they should check out Ojai premiering in theaters July 25th.
10:45Ready?
10:46Go.
10:47See Ojai.
10:48It's so much fun.
10:49It's funny.
10:50It's sexy.
10:51It's free.
10:52It's weird.
10:53It's triggering.
10:54It's alive.
10:55Go see it.
10:56It's in theaters.
10:57Molly and Logan, thank you so much for joining us today.
10:58Bye.
11:00Bye.
11:01Bye.
