00:00Third on the list is, at this moment in time,

00:03and I'm sure he'll be delighted when Wolves make another signing,

00:05he didn't have to say that every time we introduce him.

00:07The only Wolves signing so far, £19.5 million worth of Berl Lopez.

00:11We discussed early on with Jorgen Stran Larsson,

00:14but linked up really well in that first game, I think, against Santa Clara.

00:17Wolves upped the ante those last 10 minutes, and he looked dangerous.

00:20Just his thought process, very intelligent football,

00:23is what I've seen from him so far.

00:25But a bit, I would say, similar in terms of the movement of Matthias Kunja.

00:31He likes to drop deep, doesn't he?

00:32He likes to come and get the ball and then pick off passes.

00:35And I think that some of the passes that he made, very, very intelligent.

00:38And that's where someone like Jorgen Stran Larsson,

00:40not just air relief from your wing-backs,

00:42but I think going through and across the ground can really benefit.

00:45It looked like they knew each other a little bit.

00:47They knew the runs they were making.

00:49It was a bit of that telepathic nature,

00:50and I think obviously helping and being ex-teammates,

00:52even though they were different in ages, I think will definitely help.

00:57Stran Larsson will take him under his wing as well.

00:59I think we all know that in terms of not just on the field,

01:01but off the field as well.

01:02There'll be a close bond between these two.

01:04And whether we see Fer Lopez as a regular starter to begin this season,

01:08I think remains to be seen.

01:09But in terms of the excitement, in terms of the play,

01:12in terms of the athlete that he is, Liam,

01:14because he is an athlete, you look at him and he's tall,

01:18but he's quite slender.

01:19And yet on the pitch, he looks bigger than you would expect him to be.

01:21And I think that's because he's quite strong,

01:23and you're going to need that in the Premier League.

01:25Yeah, and there was an occasion where we both watched,

01:27I think it was the Santa Clara game,

01:29where he knocked someone straight off the ball

01:30and showed that he's not going to be pushed around,

01:33which is going to be really important for the Premier League.

01:35Now, I think I can speak for both of us when I say we quite like him.

01:39I think as a person, similar to Larsson, really,

01:43big character, a little bit of a joker.

01:45Pick his thieves, those two, very good friends.

01:48And I think that will help him.

01:49His English is excellent as well, which is really going to help him,

01:51having spent a little bit of time in England as a 14-year-old.

01:54So that's going to be really useful.

01:57And I think as a player, there's lots to like about him as well.

01:59I will start with a small negative.

02:01I saw in that Burnley game,

02:02he held onto the ball a little bit too much,

02:04maybe turned into danger a little too often.

02:07That's something I think with a bit more sharpness,

02:09a bit more match sharpness,

02:10more time in pre-season, that will start to fade away.

02:14I don't want to see some similarities in Pablo Sarabia.

02:18Look, we saw some good things from Sarabia, don't get me wrong.

02:20But on occasions where Sarabia frustrated by holding onto possession too long

02:24and being too slow to release it, I don't want to see that.

02:27So I think that's something that we need to be a little bit wary of with Lopez.

02:30But what he does bring is an excellent left foot,

02:33excellent technical ability,

02:35really intelligent in the spaces and the pockets

02:37and the little bits in between the lines that he picks up.

02:39And he's the kind of player that can deliver,

02:42as you've already mentioned, that killer pass.

02:45And he played one in that first half against Burnley for Larson.

02:49Lovely three ball.

02:50Larson was down on the sort of left-hand side of the box

02:53and forced a near post shot from the Burnley goalkeeper.

02:56And that was a little glimpse into what hopefully we'll see

02:59on a regular basis from these two as a pairing,

03:02but also from Lopez individually,

03:05because he can pick those passes.

03:07And I'll just finish talking about Lopez.

03:09Lopez, if you will indulge me for a second.

03:12Of course.

03:12By giving a quick shout out to a player

03:16that we're not going to mention,

03:17because I know the other three that are coming,

03:19in Leo Lopez.

03:20You do?

03:20Yeah, I know. Crazy.

03:22Leo Lopez, young lad who went out there.

03:24The other Lopez.

03:24Just wanted to very quickly mention him

03:26because no one expected him to probably be out there

03:28in the first place.

03:30A player that comes from the 21s.

03:32Not many fans had heard of him.

03:34Played left wing back.

03:34He's normally a winger,

03:35but he played a left wing back in the games.

03:37And I thought he did very well, actually,

03:39in training and in both games

03:41against Santa Clara and Burnley.

03:43Some really good crosses looked dangerous.

03:45And in training, as I say,

03:46we saw plenty of him doing some extras afterwards as well,

03:49which is a really good sign,

03:51with coaches helping him.

03:52And, you know,

03:53not to say that he'll necessarily get a chance

03:55under Pereira.

03:55That remains to be seen.

03:57But I thought it was important to mention him

03:59because I thought he did really well.
