00:00Today, nearly a $2 favorite as Christopher Sanchez makes the start for Philadelphia.
00:06Christopher Sanchez since the start of June.
00:09Eight starts, 55 and a third innings pitched, 52 Ks, 4-1 record, 1-6-3 ERA.
00:18He has gone at least six innings in all eight of those outings.
00:22Wonderful research there from our producer extraordinaire, Joe Frizzo.
00:25Minus 198 price in favor of the Titans.
00:29The over-understands at eight and a half.
00:32The Phillies won yesterday in 10 innings based on catcher's interference.
00:37Will it be another close call tonight?
00:40It will be another close call because you take a look at the pitching mismatch.
00:43Christopher Sanchez has been wonderful.
00:45You just take a look at his starts over the past, what, let's just go 30 days just to keep it close.
00:50A 3.7 walk percent rate.
00:52You love that.
00:52A 28% K rate.
00:53You love that.
00:54Iso power number against, which means extra base hits.
00:570-30, which is phenomenal.
00:58Weighted on base percentage against, 234.
01:00Ground ball percentage, 67%.
01:03So if the ball's not in the air and you're getting a lot of strikeouts and a lot of free
01:06passes, Ben, that's not a lot of opportunities to score runs.
01:09Just like yesterday, a very good outing and performance by Zach Wheeler and the Phillies
01:13bullpen.
01:14I expect the same things today.
01:15But from a Phillies perspective, they should be able to hit Richard Fitz.
01:18However, his last 30 days, K rate, 25%.
01:21You like that.
01:22Walk rate, under 6%.
01:23That's great.
01:24Iso against, 149.
01:25You'll take that.
01:26And this is a Phillies lineup with a lot of easy outs right now.
01:29Riomuto, Marsh, Kemp, Kepler, Stott, all wastes of space for the most part.
01:34Even though over the past 30 to 45 days, you've seen a little bit better out of JT Riomuto.
01:39Just the power numbers aren't there.
01:40So for me, I look at that total of eight and a half is, who's getting to nine runs?
01:45Like, is it multiple home runs by Bryce Harper that powers you?
01:48Maybe so.
01:49But if I look at Sanchez being a good pitcher on rest, which helped out yesterday with
01:53Zach Wheeler, and let's just say it does the same thing, he should give up what?
01:56One to two earned runs over six innings.
01:58And then from a Phillies perspective, three or four runs is a massive night, it feels like,
02:02for their offense.
02:03So instead of taking the side again, which was 200 or better yesterday, which the Phillies
02:07did win, but it took the extra innings.
02:09I look at that total again tonight at eight and a half and say, I don't see nine runs
02:13tonight.
02:13I just don't.
