Three people have died after a ferry caught fire off the coast of Indonesia over the weekend while over 500 were rescued, according to officials. The blaze broke out on Sunday, July 20 as the KM Barcelona 5 was bound for the city of Manado, local news outlets IDN Times and Jakarta Globe reported. According to preliminary information from the Manado Search and Rescue Agency, there were initially thought to be 280 passengers on board, Indonesia's national search and rescue agency, Basarnas, said in a statement. One of the victims was later identified by the agency as a pregnant woman, according to the Associated Press.
