00:00Dog the bounty hunter and his family are coping with a tragic loss.

00:05The former reality TV star, whose real name is Dwayne Chapman,

00:10is mourning the death of his step-grandson, Anthony.

00:14TMZ reports that the 13-year-old was shot and killed by Dog's stepson,

00:19Gregory Seca, during an accidental shooting at their apartment in Naples, Florida.

00:24According to the outlet, local law enforcement responded to a call about a shooting

00:29around 8 p.m. July 19th.

00:32The shooting was determined to be a, quote,

00:34isolated incident with no arrests having been made.

00:38However, authorities say the investigation is ongoing.

00:42E! News has reached out to the Naples Police Department but hasn't yet heard back.

00:47In a statement to TMZ, Dog and his wife, Francie Chapman,

00:51who shares son Gregory with her late husband,

00:54expressed their pain over the unimaginable loss, saying,

00:59We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible tragic accident

01:04and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony.
