00:00Ty Burrell is opening up about his decision to leave Hollywood.
00:04During an interview with People Magazine published August 3rd,
00:07the Modern Family alum shares why he doesn't have any regrets
00:10about moving his family to Utah shortly after wrapping the hit family show.
00:15He started off by saying, quote,
00:16it's just been spectacular, before adding,
00:19we moved here right after Modern Family ended, and I don't have any regrets.
00:24It's been lovely and a great place to raise the kids.
00:27But just because they're not physically in Hollywood,
00:30doesn't mean he's not so interested in working for the industry.
00:33After all, Ty, who shares daughters Frances and Greta with wife Holly,
00:38does admit he's, quote, itching to get back in front of the cameras.
00:42But for now, he's enjoying doing voiceover work,
00:45as it lets him spend more time with his family
00:47and embrace the outdoors that Utah offers.
00:50Sharing, at first when we moved here, it almost felt like cosplay,
00:54like we were pretending to be people who were outdoorsy,
00:57and now we really, truly love it.
