00:38they still have a lot of july games to play but just they've had a losing record in the second half

00:43every year with the exception of 2021 which is the year they added kyle schwarber he joined the team

00:48a couple weeks after he got traded and then they went to the alcs every other year has been

00:52in different degrees a disaster so they played over expectation last year to get to 53 and 47

01:01and then they kind of fell apart right like tanner hauck cutter crawford kind of turned back into

01:05pumpkins some of the other guys in the lineup were kind of a man and then they just kind of nosedived

01:09i do and maybe i'm gullible but i do think this team is a lot different for the two main reasons we

01:16were just talking about they didn't have garrett crochet last year so every fifth game if you're

01:21riding a losing streak here comes crochet a bregman actually talked about this yesterday where he's

01:25like if you need a stopper he's your stopper if you need a guy to keep the streak going he keeps

01:30the streak going like he's just good every single time out you didn't have that a year ago as good

01:35as tanner hauck was he's not he's not a stopper no you also didn't have alex bregman you didn't

01:40have bregman last year and you could argue like oh well he had you know he had devers in the lineup

01:44i think bregman and like all the intangible stuff all that stuff combined with him being a good

01:48player super high ops he's still one of the top ops guys or top war guys in baseball despite all

01:55the time that he's missed i think those two specifically throw in some of the new life in

02:01roman anthony and marcel meyer which weren't on the team a year ago yeah i i have confidence that

02:06they're in a better spot despite the record being the same as it was the last three years well

02:10and you know not to put more work on terp here but since we got a pure baseball going on down the

02:15ball yep were they in playoff position the last two years or what do they just have the same record
