Two men have died in a fiery plane crash at Oakey, west of Brisbane Sunday evening. Residents reported hearing a loud explosion. Police are on the scene investigating the crash.

00:00Emergency services were called to Oakey Coo Yar Road just after 3pm this afternoon after a man reported a light plane had come down in a field.
00:11The property owner was home at the time, heard a loud explosion and was able to contact emergency services.
00:20Queensland Fire Department says crews found the plane well alight and extinguished the blaze.
00:25There was a very large fireball.
00:27Six ambulances were called to the scene but the men could not be saved.
00:31Police say it was a commercial plane on a routine flight that had earlier landed in Warwick.
00:36The identities of the men are yet to be confirmed by authorities.
00:40The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is investigating.
00:43A team from Canberra will be arriving to assist with the investigation.
00:47Police have set up a crime scene which is expected to last several days.
