00:00but let's start at the top we were excited for the big boys leonardo el zombo perdomo versus

00:05arnold bumay adams at heavyweight of course adams the former champion the 40-year-old american

00:10hadn't fought since losing to mick terrell back in 2023 when he lost that title perdomo the 33

00:16year old from cuba who now trains in miami almost 200 amateur boxing fights as part of the cuban

00:21national team before becoming a pro fighter and coming over to the bkfc adams gonna have the height

00:27he's gonna have the reach but he wasn't gonna have the power perdomo and that's what we're

00:31leaning on we thought perdomo was going to get the first round ko because that's what perdomo does

00:35seven fights before this first round ko is all within a minute and 40 so what does he do

00:39first round ko once again another quick victory for him uh you know there was some controversy

00:46some interesting stuff going on in this way as perdomo was coming right out right away at adams

00:49you know trying to get him with some shots a drops with an uppercut early in the fight 24 seconds in

00:55but then throws another uppercut while he's on his knees now adams took some time to get up didn't

01:00take the full five minutes but took some time to recover and perdomo was kind of goading him

01:03during that i mean dude you threw a full-on illegal uppercut you're lucky they didn't dq you and then

01:09you're yelling at the guy to hurry up and get going he does because he's you know a champion he's got

01:13that heart he gets back into it and perdomo later on drops him again a short right to the jaw

01:19arnold goes down but perdomo's running around the ring you know again showboating being cocky

01:26getting in the face of the restaurant to push him out of the way and because of that does not start

01:30the count right away for arnold adams so by the time that arnold adams gets the call from the referee

01:36about where he's hiding it it's seven eight nine ten so he freaks out thinking he got short counted

01:43thinking you know that he never heard a count problem was the ref had to get perdomo out of the way

01:47and because of that the count doesn't get to adams until it's too late he does not get back up he

01:53loses fight is over perdomo is now eight no in the bkfc all by first round ko within a minute 40

01:59adams now seven and four in the bkfc with back-to-back losses where does he stand in this

02:03division now 40 years old the former champ we will see uh we'll hopefully get him back in there a lot

02:08sooner than we did recently and see him against some of these other top level opponents to see if he is

02:11still one of the best in the division but perdomo just thinking about one thing after that fight of

02:16course and now mr president i need my bill i want my bill no more hey big boy what are you doing

02:59match perdomo wants to shot that belt we'll see if he gets it and he might have to wait a little while

03:04but that's obviously the only guy left for him to fight in that heavyweight division we'll see when

03:08that happens if it does also you had interim flyweight championship between gene the cutman

03:11perez and andrew legend strode uh perez 36 year old from miami coming off back-to-back wins by ko tko

03:17strode 20 year old from denver coming off a unanimous decision over tyler randall in february we talked

03:23to strode a couple weeks ago we thought he win by decision he gets the win uh tko doctor stoppage

03:29in the second round very interesting that uh you know perez came out strong you know come and try to

03:34come right away with the the punches being aggressive coming across the ring but strode

03:39kind of backed him up with some good shots early on and 24 seconds in kind of spins perez 360

03:44somehow doesn't go down but that changed it now all of a sudden he's not as aggressive now he's

03:48not coming as forward and that lets strode start to pick his opponent apart and do his thing both

03:52guys you know looking for big shots having some good exchanges but i thought that strode won that

03:56round 10-9 especially on that big shot that spun perez around then you get to the second round

04:00both guys are kind of slowed down looking for their shots you know not trying to outswing the

04:05other one and leave themselves open and then later in the round you get a bunch of uh things going on

04:10where strode lands a right to the side of the ear you know it goes like it's gonna go to the head

04:15doesn't really connect doesn't get the jaw doesn't get the the temple gets the ear of perez they go

04:21after the round is over i had a 10-9 showed up 2018 both rounds but the ear is busted open of g perez

04:28so they check it and dr right away says uh not happening because you know if you lose that part

04:34of the year you're not reattaching it so they had to stop the fight but it's ruled a no contest

04:38to surprise everybody surprise the commentator surprise strode you know he's sitting there

04:42thinking i punched him busted his ear open doctor stops that's it they say it's a no contest saying

04:47that it wasn't a punch that messed his ear up so unfortunately he gets all the juice and the

04:52love taken away from him only to later on after the fight a couple days later the commission

04:57goes back checks it out says you know what it was a punch that caused the injury the doctor stops it

05:01from there that's a tk of victory for andrew strode but gets all the wind taken out of his

05:05sails with uh you know that belt but not getting it that night he's now four and oh perez now five and two
