00:00He's 0-3 in Week 1, all high-profile games, the openers for LSU.
00:05He has not won one.
00:06They lost two games to Florida State, and then last year he lost that opener
00:10against USC in Vegas.
00:12So what has he got in store this year?
00:15Clemson on the road at Death Valley, Week 1, LSU and Clemson,
00:20a Saturday night game in the opening weekend.
00:23Let's just say Kelly has had this game circled.
00:25But we've also been 0-3 in openers at LSU under my watch,
00:32and we needed to do some things differently this year,
00:36and that is embrace this opener and embracing it in a manner that this is a big game
00:44and it's a tangible goal for our football team to want to be 1-0.
00:49It's not let's warm up into the season.
00:52Let's get – we want to be ready for this football game.
00:55And so we're doing everything in our power to give our players the opportunity for that success.
01:01You know, the problem is that they're playing Club Nick,
01:05and they're playing in Death Valley, and they're playing at night on national television,
01:10and I don't care who they got or how much money they got.
01:13That's just a brutal road game.
01:14And you're going up against Davo, who's every bit the coach you are.
01:18So, let's face it.
01:20Do you realize it's six SEC titles, three Big Ten titles, two in a row by the Big Ten,
01:26and the only other two times that it's happened in college football, Clemson won both titles.
01:35So you're talking about a guy that wins championships,
01:37that you're going into his den of iniquity at Death Valley at Clemson, South Carolina,
01:42at night against a quarterback, Club Nick's every bit better than Nussmeyer,
01:49or whatever his name is, this hack at LSU that he just said was the greatest quarterback that ever lived.
01:54He just said he was as good as Jaden Daniels is what I heard.
01:57And so I'm telling you, I won't be surprised at all they lose again.
02:01And you know what's amazing to me?
02:02This guy keeps losing down there, and nothing ever happens to him.
02:05He just keeps losing.
02:07I think he's plastered 1-0 all over the locker rooms, the weight rooms.
02:12He's really digging into this starting the season with a win.
02:16Clemson is three-point favorites for that opening night game, that Saturday night game.
02:22I'm not surprised.
02:23That's just a brutal place to play.
02:25They come running down that hill, they hit that rock, and they're half crazy.
02:29Like, have fun with that.
02:30Yeah.
02:31Yeah, certainly do.
02:33It's every bit as bad as their Death Valley in Baton Rouge.
02:36You play under the lights there on a Saturday night, you lose.
02:39You play at Death Valley in Clemson under the lights on National TV, you lose.
02:44Here's the LSU numbers for the season, by the way.
02:47I'm trying to do this with some of the teams that we talked about.
02:49Their win total is 8.5, 17-1 to win the title, 7-1 to win the SEC,
02:53plus 134 to make the college football playoff.
02:56The Brian Kelly LSU numbers for this year.
02:58I mean, can you imagine that their number is 8.5?
03:03That's like just spinning on it.
03:05They have a tough schedule.
03:08Their schedule's real tough.
03:10Aside from that Clemson game, they got some heavy hitters throughout that thing.
03:14What a shame.
03:15Woo.
