00:00All the Hampton Wunderers have officially parted ways with winger Chiquinho,
00:06who has joined Portuguese side Alverca after a deal was finalised.
00:11The 25-year-old leaves Wolves, having played just 96 minutes in over three and a half years
00:15since arriving from Estoril Parada for just ÂŁ3 million.
00:19Despite high hopes, Chiquinho failed to make an impact and now seeks to revive his career back in Portugal.
00:26Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the move on Wednesday, with Chiquinho agreeing to a three-year contract.
00:34Wolves are not receiving any transfer fee for the winger, but the deal includes a 40% sell-on clause.
00:40This means if Alverca sell him in the future, Wolves will receive 40% of that fee.
00:46While not ideal, this clause offers some hope a return financially could be on the cards.
00:51Chiquinho's time at Molyneux was largely disappointing, especially considering his promising form at Estoril,
00:58where he averaged a goal or assist every 140 minutes in his final season.
01:04A loan spell at Stoke City lasted only a month, and though he scored five goals on loan at Familio in the following season,
01:11success at Wolves never materialised.
01:14Meanwhile, Wolves face uncertainty over captain Nelson Semedo, whose contract has expired.
01:20Despite being offered a lucrative four-year deal, Semedo has yet to commit,
01:24attracting interest from clubs in Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
01:30Losing Semedo would be a major blow, given his importance both on and off the pitch.
01:35It feels inevitable now that he's going to leave the club, and being the captain,
01:38being one of the very few proper leaders in that dressing room, I think he'll be a big miss.
01:42But if Wolves can keep hold of him, I think he'll be one of the most important players in that squad for many years to come.
01:47To strengthen their wide options, Wolves have reportedly made a concrete offer for AS Monaco's winger, Magis Akaluche.
01:56At 23, he's impressed last season with seven goals and seven assists,
02:00and is known for his defensive work rate as well as attacking flair.
02:04However, competition from Nottingham Forest, Arsenal, Tottenham and Bayer Leverkusen mean Wolves will face a tough battle
02:11to secure the Frenchman's signature.
