Ride for Joe event at WV Active, Aldersley, in memory of Joe Guy.

00:00Here we are again and every time I stand here and the family we get surprised by

00:07how many people turn up and I don't think we should be because what a great

00:11group of people you are thank you so much for supporting this event again

00:15this is a ninth time we've done this we lost Joe eight years ago and time does

00:22fly but he's always always in our memories and this now is a celebration

00:28of Joe's life there are many people who make this event happen there's people

00:34out on the road putting signs out there's people doing the administration

00:38the Air Ambulance have been very supportive throughout the whole of

00:42these events and I'd like to thank them today they're we've got two

00:46representatives today from the Air Ambulance

00:50more importantly we need to remember Joe Joe was 16 years old when we lost him a

01:04life taken far too short with great prospects in the cycling world so as we

01:11always do and it is now a tradition of this ride that we have a minute silence

01:16in memory of Joe however I'm going to change that this year let's have a

01:21minute of applause in memory of Joe
