00:00In the US, I was founded in the US, so what do you think about it and what kind of excitement are these things?
00:10Excitement is overwhelming for me, actually. It's surprising because I remember that when I worked in the 90s,
00:21when I worked in the film and was released, I was looking at the time of the nomination,
00:30and I was looking at the name of the nomination that I didn't come to the nomination.
00:33Obviously, I didn't show anything. Eventually, I didn't show anything.
00:38I found it for 4-5 years, and then I closed the film.
00:42I was thinking that I didn't get the talent for them, and my talent wasn't enough.
00:50And they had probably better contenders. So, I had no regret in that.
00:53But the only point was that, that I felt,
00:57ke abhi jab ya phone aya toh, I was shocked.
01:02Aar mai nai jo ko jab phone ne kia, jo nai jab phone kia toh, mai nai almost us ko bula,
01:06ha al taang mat khij meri, you know.
01:08So, because I probably did not expect this happening.
01:11So, it was surprising ke, you know, it went off to LA in the festivals over there,
01:16and then to be nominated there was like overwhelming for me.
01:19I was shocked.
01:20And I'm pleasantly surprised and I'm very excited that, you know,
01:25it is also getting a lot of laurels in a lot of other festivals.
01:30And kaafi jag ya hum low ko abhi kal bhi Kolkata ka aya hai.
01:35Toh, I think it is wonderful to see ke, ek choti film amne shuru kari ti.
01:39Aar, English mein thi for the global market because eventually it is a relationship based film.
01:45Toh man-woman relationship it is, whether it is France or it is India or it is Timbuktu.
01:53I think, you know, relationships ko in a similar pattern and it resonates with everybody.
02:00So, that is one of the reasons why I felt this film should be made in English.
02:05Aar, jabhi hum low ko nae yeh film banai toh actually maho short film hi thi.
02:10Humne, humne, humne likhi thi English mein.
02:12Yehi sochke ke, ke, mujhe aise roles karna pasand hai.
02:16Mujhe is tarike ka kirdar karna pasand hai.
02:18Aar, eventually humne yeh film jab banai toh,
02:21jab jo aya film ko banane ke liye as a director,
02:24he completely, you know, it kind of elevated the whole platform.
02:28He changed this whole ball game.
02:30He made this short film into such a massive production
02:33and loved the way he brought Uliya inside as an actor,
02:37which was a surprise because hum logo nae expect ni kiya tha ke itni achi actress hogi.
02:41You know, she has always been a performer on stage and live shows and singing.
02:47But it was amazing to see that, you know, she has such great potential as an actor.
02:53Toh, I just completely, you know, loved it ke pura unit itna beautiful ban gaya.
02:59Aar, eventually, socha tha ke film short film hai toh,
03:03kahi aas paas yehaan shoot hogi.
03:05But he took us all the way to Sri Lanka
03:07and that to about 7-8 hours drive from Colombo.
03:12So, it was like a unique experience.
03:14Yeh jo pura ek mahol usne create kiya
03:17or finally jo result humne dekha toh, I was really proud of it.
03:21Keh I definitely loved the final product when I saw it
03:24and I am thankful that jo walked into it as a filmmaker
03:29and I was in very good hands.
03:32Sir, what do you think about your talent in financial industry?
03:39Aar, aasa toh, kuch nii hai,
03:42mein sumajta hoon ke mujhe joh piaar loogon ka mila hai.
03:45Toh, meinne hemesha hihi equit kiya hai,
03:47meire pichhlye joh performances rahein 90's mein,
03:51joh meinne kam kiya hai.
03:52Aaj loog abhi bhi mujhe uske basis ke oopper mujhe itna piaar detetä hain.
03:58Itna mujhe kahin pe bhi jata hoon.
04:00Toh, mujhe milti hai,
04:01piaar se mujhe itna sab kuch milti hai.
04:04Toh, woh definitely meire liye hamesha hihi eek reward raha hai.
04:08Wohi meira eek award raha hai.
04:09Toh, mein sumajta hoon ke,
04:10I have never felt
04:11ki is tarikhe ki cheeze,
04:13joh hai, woh bohut zyadha us time pe matter kar di thi.
04:16Par us time pe,
04:17jab, yaha pe,
04:18aaj,
04:19jab, mein dubaara as an actor kaam kar raha hoon.
04:22Or, mujhe,
04:23jab, ye, ah, honor mila toh,
04:25I was completely shocked.
04:27I was overwhelmed.
04:28I was not expecting,
04:29ke aisa kuch hooga.
04:31But, ah,
04:32mujhe is baat ki khushi hai,
04:33ke haan, definitely recognition toh recognition hoota hi hai.
04:37Or, hum log kama karte hai recognition ke liye.
04:40Toh, us door mein nahi mila,
04:41toh, iska mujhe aisa koi gham nahi hai.
04:43Or, nahi mujhe, ah,
04:45un logho se koi, ah,
04:46ma khafa raha hoon.
04:47Because, meinnei hamesha hi,
04:49her sal,
04:50jab, meinnei apna naam nahi dhekha,
04:51toh, meinnei suchha,
04:52agle sal mein kuch or better karo ga.
04:53Uske baad ke sal mein muchh or better karo ga.
04:55But, isn't it, it, it always, ah,
04:58was very, ah, you know,
05:00more motivation, motivating for me,
05:02for me to do some and strive for better.
05:04So, in that sense,
05:05I have, I have no regrets.
05:06But, I am happy, ke yeh,
05:07meinnei dubara kaam shuru kiya,
05:09aur, mujhe,
05:10initial stage mein, mujhe, ah,
05:12recognition mila.
05:13Ah, chahe, woh, ehle mein mila.
05:15But, I hope, ke someday,
05:17we can show the film here.
05:18And, ah, people get to see my work here.
05:21Sir, ah, usually short films bhi baad kee jaya.
05:23So, short films jaya,
05:24the short films jaya,
05:25jab India mein aati hain,
05:26mo, uh,
05:27dreswil mein biti jati,
05:28kai short film nang deki ke,
05:30bas film per jeeti hai.
05:31International film dreswil mein jeeti hai.
05:32Or, yaha ke ake,
05:33utana, adhada hight ni ho taam raya.
05:36Uchini tada film e ti dren chaldi,
05:38short films pe kya ke,
05:39emuska kya dren na hati hai?
05:40Yeh mein, actually,
05:42meh, ishi cheez ke upar merik lagta hai,
05:44Joe, I think, has planned something.
05:46He wants to, you know,
05:48do something little more enhanced,
05:50jayse usne film ke saath kiya,
05:51ek shorti si film ko,
05:53usne itna bada bada diya.
05:55Toh, I feel ke, ah,
05:57woh kuch aisa hi plan kar rahe hai,
05:59ke woh logo tuk pahunchane ke liye,
06:01nahe kuch avenue soch rahe hai,
06:03ke taakhi logo tuk ye short film dekhne mile.
06:06And, I think, not just on showing it on the OTT,
06:09but there's, beyond that,
06:11he is looking at doing certain things,
06:12which is very exciting.
06:14So, I hope, ah,
06:15he short film ko bhi loog,
06:17usne, ah, basically,
06:19short film, kehne ke liye short film mein,
06:21usna daira joe usne bada diya hai.
06:23Toh, mein souchta ho,
06:24and I hope that,
06:25loog bhi utna piyaar deen,
06:27jab unko dekhne ka mokha mile.
06:28Sir, aap ki journey ki baat ki jaye,
06:30toh, matlab ki,
06:31I think, maam, dekhta da,

06:42Eee, aapke sake sallyha sab,
06:43eh,
06:44aapke contrad fin making history and vind.
06:45Aapke ne s Meek Radio UMaine has become aap cheers and hope ever heats go well.
06:48It's part and parcel of this business.
06:56I think it's part and parcel of this business.
07:11and I didn't mean that something was intentionally happened,
07:17and someone had me intentionally done something.
07:20Whatever happened, it was credible,
07:23and I was always a spiritual man.
07:26I believe in the theory of karma,
07:30so I understand that what someone gets,
07:33is the karma of his karma,
07:36and what he achieved is his karma,
07:39and I appreciate that,
07:42that whatever it is in their karma,
07:44in their destiny,
07:45they are getting it,
07:46and what is in my destiny,
07:47I will get it.
07:48Do you think,
07:49how many outsiders are,
07:51and how many outsiders are known?
07:55Actually, I don't have to say in the game,
07:58outsider or insider,
08:00you will have to prove your talent.
08:04If you don't prove your talent,
08:06you will not stay for long.
08:07So, it doesn't really matter.
08:09Sir,
08:10today,
08:11you have seen actors,
08:12and you have to go into entourage,
08:13as a scientist,
08:14PR,
08:15and managers.
08:16What do you think about this culture,
08:17and what do you think,
08:18and what do you think,
08:19and what do you think,
08:20and what do you think,
08:21and what do you think,
08:22and what do you think,
08:24and what do you think,
08:27and what I think,
08:28is the,
08:29the corporate business came,
08:30after all the corporate companies come,
08:32and all the things that came to me.
08:34And,
08:35I am in the 90s,
08:36so I haven't felt that much,
08:37and my feelings.
08:39But yeah,
08:40I think,
08:41if they are doing it,
08:42be doing it for a purpose and they must be having their own reasons why they do it.
08:46So I guess it is depending upon the production house, the producers, if they let it happen
08:53and I am sure they are definitely reaping the benefits otherwise, when they know that
09:01this entourage is not worthy, then why do they do it?
09:04If they are worthy, then they are supporting.
09:07So I think they are definitely reaping the benefits of it and that's why they are letting
09:21it happen.
09:22Sir, in your opinion, there are many people who are working for image, who are also working
09:36and who are successful, some of the people are not getting successful.
09:40But if there is talent, if you are not watching in cinema, then you can see in OTT,
09:47who is not watching in TV, who is not watching in TV and who is not watching in TV,
09:51who is not watching in the reels.
09:55So I think there is so much talent and you can explore your talent and exploit it anywhere
10:00today's time.
10:01The avenues are so wonderful today.
10:03So I think it's just that matter of time,
10:06that if you have a talent or your honor, if you have a talent, you can see anywhere on
10:11any platform.
10:12A big talent is talent, boss.
10:14Sir, some of the studios have been closed.
10:21How did you shoot the studio?
10:26How many laws have been closed?
10:29How many laws have been closed?
10:30No, they are not closed.
10:32They are all buying and they are all looking at their profits.
10:40They are finding more benefits in that.
10:42That is why they are doing what they are doing.
10:43So it's price of the land which is more important than the monies they are making otherwise.
10:49So, he is always going to be somebody who is, someone I will always fall back on,
11:19and I will always look for, if I am in trouble ever, and if I am looking for any kind of discourse that I want, I call him.
11:29Sir, about Gurudat's films, who are you as an actor, inspired, inspiration, and what happens to you in this film?
11:41Gurudat is a legend and his cinema is very different.
11:46So, in my opinion, to comment on them, I don't think I am worthy of it.
11:52So, I will let it pass, brother.
11:54Sir, what are you promising?
12:00It is promising because all the launches are an investment.
12:04And when the business starts, the investment never shows its value.
12:09So, I think you will have to give some time to everybody who gets launched.
12:13And whoever is worthy is being launched today, maybe he will reap tomorrow.
12:17Sir, Lafsi, what do you want to say?
12:20I would like to say that we have a lot of effort in creating Echoes of Us.
12:26Especially, the team has formed us.
12:30Joe has dragged us.
12:32I think we are planning.
12:33And hopefully, if everything works off, then I think Joe is going to be making this short film.
12:38business into a proper primary business.
12:39You will be surprised.
12:40You will be surprised.
13:10Be bad for right.
13:11He is pushing back.
13:20He already has reached his heart.
13:21He is dansement.
13:22And heives those thoughts.
13:25It is fascinating.
13:26He has to challenge the audience.
13:29его the balance himself.
13:33His bending takes.
13:35He will be hanging out.
