China reaffirms ASEAN ties with vision for regional peace and growth

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized China’s commitment to ASEAN as a strategic partner for regional peace, economic cooperation, and global governance, proposing deeper collaboration through multilateralism, free trade, Belt and Road initiatives, and maritime security, while highlighting ASEAN’s central role in shaping a shared future for the Indo-Pacific amid rising geopolitical tensions.

02:16Wang said that China is willing to work with ASEAN to build the version 3.0 China-ASEAN free trade area,

02:23implement the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement to a high-quality

02:30China is willing to continue to take a high-quality belt-and-road cooperation as the main platform,

02:36strengthen connectivity and cooperation in production and supply chains with ASEAN
