00:00Leeds United have confirmed their fourth signing of the summer so far,
00:04bringing in Gabriel Goodmanson to Ellen Road.
00:07He has made clear that it has been a dream for him to play in the Premier League
00:10and is looking forward to starting.
00:13It feels very good.
00:14Obviously, it's been a dream for me to come to the Premier League
00:17and to sign for Leeds to be a part of that feels amazing.
00:20What is it about the Premier League that gets you excited then?
00:23I think I was growing up watching the Premier League
00:25and obviously my father played there as well.
00:27So it's a bit of connection there already.
00:29Your dad was part of a Blackburn Rovers team that came and played at Ellen Road.
00:34I don't think he got a game in that one.
00:36So he's been here, but that was before you were born, wasn't it?
00:38It was, yes.
00:39So has he told you stories about how the game is in this country?
00:43Yeah, I'm told, but I also know it.
00:44I think Premier League is quite common, what they are doing and playing,
00:49the sort of play style.
00:50But it's an amazing league.
00:53It's a big competitive league, strongest league in the world, I think, in my opinion.
00:56And do you know a little bit about the background here,
00:59what you've walked into, if you like, here at Ellen Road now,
01:02what this place is all about?
01:04Actually, my friends and family told me that the fan base is huge.
01:08And obviously I know that.
01:09And also this stadium here is unbelievable as well,
01:12with the fans shouting.
01:13And Bradford City are in a positive place.
01:17They are the words of manager Graeme Alexander,
01:20speaking after their first match in pre-season
01:23against FC United of Manchester, which the Bantams won.
01:26Yeah, we've just got to maintain that.
01:29You know, we've sort of looked at the conditions
01:32that we've worked in previous, last season
01:35and the athletes we have with us and so forth.
01:39So we've tried to sort of manage the pre-season load so far
01:43to make sure we've got as many players available for this game
01:46and the next four weeks.
01:48Because it's a valuable time for us as a team.
01:51Each individual, it's a valuable time for them.
01:53So, yeah, but we will have to step up
01:55when we come back in on Monday.
01:57You know, I just said to the players there,
01:58you know, it's a great end to the second week,
02:00but there's another four weeks of the six-week programme to go.
02:04So, but I feel we're in a positive place.
02:06There's still improvements to be made,
02:08but they will come naturally physically in the work we do.
02:11And then tactically, it's down to the players
02:13to take on board the info.
