00:00You have that large group of redshirt freshmen.

00:10I'm just wondering, you know, from that group,

00:12you know, who's really stood out for you this spring

00:14and what are you expecting from those four going into the season?

00:17Yeah, Teon Gray is a big, powerful man.

00:22He's all of 6'6", 345 pounds,

00:26and he's a guy that can command forehands

00:29and when you're looking for a defensive lineman in the run game,

00:32especially in this conference,

00:33you want to have big bodies that can take on double teams

00:37and be able to play combination blocks

00:39and really excited about what he's able to do.

00:42The last practice, we had a goal line period.

00:44He made a big time TFL play for us.

00:47Another guy that's really had a really good spring for us so far

00:50has been Jericho Johnson.

00:53Really good job of being able to attack the line of scrimmage

00:56and he's been showing up time and time again in practice.

00:59So, really excited about his development.

01:02Aiden Breeland has been doing a really good job for us.

01:05You know, he's been playing defensive ends,

01:07sliding them down, playing defensive tackle,

01:09like we did with Brandon Dorlis.

01:11Very similar, but, you know, he's longer.

01:14He's all of 295,

01:16but he's been able to show up for us a lot

01:18and he's a guy that can play on the edge in the run game,

01:21first, second down, slide them inside on third down

01:23and be able to take advantage of, you know,

01:25lesser athletes at that guard position

01:27because he definitely can rush.

01:29And really, towards the end of the season,

01:31Aiden Breeland was probably like our best interior pass rusher

01:34really coming along.

01:36So, excited about what he's able to do for us.

01:39Ashton Porter, another player for us

01:42that didn't play a lot of reps,

01:43but he's been having a good spring for us too as well.

01:45So, we're kind of relying on, you know,

01:48Aiden, Ashton Porter to be able to help out.

01:50You know, we're losing Birch.

01:51You know, Mattel's taking a lot of those reps there,

01:54but just being able to have some extra guys there

01:56to be able to take those reps as well

01:57is going to be big for us.
