00:00Lorena, at the end of the race, the first thing you have done is say thank you to Lotte.
00:05So we have seen another great team work today.
00:08Yes, and actually we were very lucky that we were in front of the roundabout when the crash happened.
00:13And that we were still with three of us.
00:16And also Barbara did a great job to bring us to the corner.
00:20And Lotte did also amazing.
00:24I was a bit scared also for the last corner.
00:27I felt my wheels also slipping a bit, but at the end I was able to save it.
00:34You were the favorite today, so we can say mission accomplished.
00:38Yes, I would like it more to go with the complete peloton to the finish,
00:42but that's also part of racing.
00:44And yeah, you can expect it with the rain.
00:47And I think that what I said, the team did really good the whole day.
00:50And it's nice to finish it off also for them.
00:55Back again in pink, how it feels to wear again the maglia rosa and to ride with this?
01:00Oh yeah, the novelty never wears off.
01:02It's super special, this jersey.
01:03And I'm really being, I was really proud to wear it today.
01:05And the team gave me so many nice things.
01:07And I felt like I looked super nice.
01:10And yeah, I'm really proud to wear it for another day.
01:12Looking at today's stage, we see that you were behind the crash.
01:15Can you tell us more what happened, Ed? What have you seen?
01:18Yeah, I mean, there was a lot of stress with about, probably even about 30 or 25K to go.
01:23A lot of teams lined up and then the rain came in and then it made all the roundabout super slippery.
01:27And yeah, it was kind of a waiting game when the crash was actually going to happen
01:30because it was super fast and super slippery roads.
01:33And yeah, you saw the big one on the roundabout and I thought I saved it, but I didn't make it.
01:38Looking at tomorrow's stage will be important for you, I mean, to keep the maglia rosa.
01:43We will have an important uphill finish.
01:45So we'll define more the gaps in the GC.
01:48How you and your team will you face it?
01:50Yeah, I mean, yeah, we're sticking to our plan of being super aggressive.
01:54And yeah, tomorrow's an uphill finish.
01:56So yeah, it'll be the first test for the climbers and I'm looking forward to supporting my teammates.
01:59How are the legs? You think you're ready for tomorrow?
02:02I'll see how my injuries are, but I think I'm fine and I'm ready to go again with my girls tomorrow.
02:07Thank you so much.
02:09So Antonia, we are happy to see you again with a white jersey.
02:13How it went today? How are the legs?
02:16Yeah, today like we knew that the first climb is quite long, but not too hard.
02:20And also like that afterwards, it's like quite flat and long.
02:24So yeah, as expected, the climb wasn't too hard.
02:27And also our sprinter could survive.
02:30So we were going all in for a sprint.
02:32But unfortunately, there was a crash in the last roundabout and we were all like stuck behind.
02:37And that was a little bit sad.
02:39But I mean, tomorrow's a new chance.
02:41Yeah.
02:42And looking about tomorrow, we will have an important uphill finish that maybe could help us to define more the GC to create gaps.
02:49So how will you face this important test?
02:52Yeah, tomorrow's a super hard day.
02:53So I think it suits us quite well.
02:55And for sure, it's an important stage for the GC.
02:59So yeah, let's see what's happening.
03:01Okay.
03:02And you're on team now.
03:03You have time to recover, time to think about tomorrow.
03:05Which will be the plan?
03:07Yeah, for sure.
03:08Like we will have a really good plan.
03:10I mean, I don't want to say too much, but for sure we have like a lot of good riders who can try something.
03:16And for sure, like the main goal, as always, is the GC.
03:19No spoiler.
03:20We can see tomorrow.
03:21Yes.
03:23So congratulations.
03:24Today the goal was to collect the 25 points of the GPM.
03:28I mean.
03:29Yes, yes.
03:30We are very happy because here there are the best riders from the world.
03:36And our prize today was to get the GPM and we get it.
03:42It was very difficult because it was in the start of the race and they push very, very hard.
03:49But I say, okay, all out and we get it.
03:54So we are very happy with this price.
03:55It's very special for us because the Giro is a history in the cyclist.
04:00So we are, we are very happy and we have to work hard in the next stages to get more prices like, like this,
04:09because for our team is very, very special to, to get this, this price.
04:13And also you were the first to reach the CIM, Alfonsina Strada.
04:16Such an important person for the world of cycling.
04:21So how important is to give a particular meaning to that girl that like one century before was the cycling was running.
04:30What?
04:31Sorry, repeat.
04:32You have been the first to reach the Cima, Alfonsina Strada.
04:35Yes.
04:36She is, I mean, the, one of the important Italian cyclists because, uh, one, uh, about in 1924, she drive at Giro d'Italia.
04:44So this is, uh, such important for us.
04:46Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes.
04:48And, and also there are a lot of, a lot of people, uh, cheering us.
04:53And, and it's very, very special to ride in these roads and these mountains because, uh, as I say before, uh, the Giro is history.
05:03These mountains are history.
05:05So, uh, to be here as a woman also that, uh, we always see the men in the TV years before when we were child, children.
05:16Um, and it's very special to be here, uh, in these roads with these people in these mountains and in this podium also.
05:26Yes.
05:27So looking at tomorrow, there will be an important uphill finish that will maybe define more the gaps in the GC.
05:35So how you and your team will face it?
05:38Yes.
05:39Uh, it's true that we are a little bit lost in the GC, uh, because the time trial wasn't a good day for us.
05:47But, uh, tomorrow is like the first day for the GC to do a big differences.
05:53So we will try to, to be as, as best as possible, no?
05:59And to get a good result.
06:01I think that we are, we are in a good, in a good shape, you know?
06:05Uh, and this, the start wasn't the best for us, but now with this prize, we are like very motivated.
06:14And we will try our best tomorrow and in the next stages.
06:20So congratulations and thank you.
06:22Thank you very much.
06:23Grazie.
