01:52agenda, and confirm our desire to shape a more just, multipolar world order, based on the principles of the
02:01United Nations, and not separate principles. As our Western partners, when they choose the principles that
02:09seem most convenient to them, in the context of their international adventures, but rather the universal
02:17system as it was created, written, and then amended by different countries in its entirety,
02:23and in accordance with the requirements of the United Nations Charter.
02:28The bloc's expansion did not hinder the work at the summit. When asked about Venezuela's absence and
02:35the possibility of other Latin American members joining, Lula da Silva said that the BRICS are a
02:41constantly evolving entity, and that the doors have never closed. Cuba's entry was considered
02:47valuable in the area of health. The Cuban Minister of Health was in Brazil for the BRICS meeting,
02:54and visited the Fiocruz Institute, because there are Fiocruz products developed today that are available in
03:00Brazil through the unified health system, which is the result of cooperation with Cuba. These include
03:06important medicines for blood diseases and vaccines in everything related to technology in Cuba that is
03:12important for Brazil and for the BRICS. We want to strengthen that cooperation and produce more.
03:18Environment, artificial intelligence and health were the main themes debated in the search for a more
03:22balanced world. Environmental discussions are not progressing in the direction and at the speed
03:30required. Wealthy societies are reluctant to change their unsustainable patterns of production and
03:37consumption. Solutions are being postponed. Minimal commitments are being made. And there is no
03:45political will on the part of those who should be contributing most to solving the environmental crisis.
03:52The challenges of global health are no less complex. The gaps between countries and populations,
03:58inequality in access to health services, medical supplies, and technologies, and the imposition of
04:06unilateral coercive measures, exclude tens of millions of human beings from the vital right to health.
04:15Brazil promises to continue working on the BRICS activities until the end of the year when the
04:19presidency will be transferred to India.
