00:00You've heard of music festivals like Coachella, Burning Man etc etc but have you heard about
00:05a party where the guests drink from sippy cups and the mosh pit smells like baby wipes?
00:09This is Toddler Techno, a real life rave for children, like actual children.
00:14Some of them can't walk yet.
00:16It was started by this Australian guy called Lenny Pearce, DJ new dad.
00:20He wanted to party with his kid so he brought techno into the toddler zone in 2024.
00:25There have been baby rays in Sydney and Melbourne, a full house in San Francisco and other
00:29places in America and surprisingly, it has worked.
00:32The babies wear headphones, volume stays between 85 and 95 decibels but the sound can still
00:38feel like a full body event when you're two feet tall.
00:40Tickets start from $40 and go up to $200 for VIPs, that's like almost 20,000 rupees.
00:47Babies under one can get in free.
00:49Each show runs about 90-105 minutes with a mid-party chill break for diaper changes and snack time.
00:54A soft lit chill zone sits at the edge of the chaos.
00:57So-fi lullabies playing, toddlers napping, most of the kids won't remember it, they're
01:02just dancing.
01:03Toddler Techno, not sure what it is, neither are the kids but it's definitely making headlines.
