00:05:48I sure was trying last night, so what the hell does that tell you?
00:05:51Hell, hell, hell, hell.

00:05:56Shit, shit, shit, shit.
00:05:58Hey James, why don't you go outside and bring in your toys like I asked you to yesterday?

00:15:38¿Cómo va a estar aquí?
00:15:40Lo que aprendí en mis 23 años de vivir en esta historia
00:15:43es que hay más de vida que hay que trabajar.
00:15:45¡¿Recuerdas eso, Ricky?
00:15:47You guys, too. Am I right, Lenny?
00:15:50You're right. You're right.
00:15:53I think Bob would have something different to say about that.
00:15:56Fuck Rick, she's higher than I am right now.
00:16:00What's she gonna say, right?
00:16:02Besides, me missing my four hours of minimum wage,
00:16:06and when they say minimum, they mean minimum.
00:16:10I promise I ain't gonna throw the delicate balance of our economy out of whack.
00:16:13Like someone else could fucking, you know, pump their gas and wash their windshields.
00:16:17Me, sit right back, suck on this fat joint.
00:16:23World's still gonna spin.
00:16:25Right, Lenny?
00:16:26Oh, you're right. You're right.
00:16:30Didn't you just play football, man?
00:16:31Yeah, for like a half a year, and then the bastard quit.
00:16:34Oh, fuck that. I just found better things to do.
00:16:36My fucking timers, though.
00:16:38Pussy.
00:16:40PlayStation.
00:16:41Prescription.
00:16:42Pills.
00:16:43Triple P.
00:16:44My Lenny?
00:16:45You're right. You're right.
00:16:47Okay.
00:16:50I'll tell you, though, when I did play,
00:16:53I fucking catch everything they threw.
00:16:54Give me the ball.
00:16:55Everything they threw at me.
00:16:56I fucking had some hands on me, you know what I'm saying?
00:16:59All the hermits got hands.
00:17:01Let me see your hands.
00:17:01These hands?
00:17:02Yeah, let me see that shit.
00:17:04What the fuck did you do to that?
00:17:06Did you get in a fight?
00:17:07Oh, fuck.
00:17:07Yeah.
00:17:09Not exactly.
00:17:13Stayed up.
00:17:13Listen to this, man.
00:17:27Early bird catches the worm, huh?
00:17:29Save the proverbs, be a good little dealer,
00:17:31and chuck me some shit, okay?
00:17:33The colonel knows what she wants.
00:17:36You okay?
00:17:38I will be when you give me that bag.
00:17:39I mean, unless you want to play shrink
00:17:40and ask me about my fucking childhood.
00:17:42You want to ask me about my fucking childhood?
00:17:43Because I got lots to say about it.
00:17:45You want to smoke it, snort it, swallow it?
00:17:49Well, it'll fuck me faster.
00:17:50Ice?
00:17:51Smoke it.
00:17:52You got gear?
00:17:52Yeah.
00:18:00Is this real?
00:18:01Mommy doesn't give you fake money.
00:18:03If she did, we might have an actual conversation.
00:18:05I'll take your word for it, then.
00:18:08Take whatever you want everyone else does.
00:18:11I'm going to go.
00:18:11All right.
00:18:12Have a nice trip.
00:18:18Shit.
00:18:22Mr. Presley, would you mind coming with me?
00:18:32I'd love to.
00:18:52Tommy, Tommy, Tommy, Tommy, we can't.
00:18:57Come on.
00:18:58Look, doesn't this feel good?
00:19:01Not the point, Tiger.
00:19:03Of course it feels good.
00:19:04You wouldn't do it if it didn't feel good.
00:19:06I can feel all fucking hard you maybe, can't you?
00:19:08When you put my hand on there, I can, yeah.
00:19:12Come on, it's the last day of school, okay?
00:19:16Something old ending, something new beginning.
00:19:20I want to be inside you.
00:19:21Tommy, I told you a thousand times.
00:19:26I'm not ready for it.
00:19:29This isn't negotiable.
00:19:31Can't talk me into this, honey.
00:19:34Besides, it's not like we don't do other things.
00:19:37Other things.
00:19:41Other things.
00:19:44Like that's an answer.
00:19:45You know what?
00:19:48What?
00:19:52Never mind.
00:19:53Doesn't even matter.
00:19:54Tommy.
00:19:56What?
00:20:00Look.
00:20:01We should talk maybe.
00:20:02Hey, Harold, what kind of school are you running here?
00:20:10No milk, no half and half.
00:20:12It's like working in a sweatshop here.
00:20:13There's no dairy creamer right there.
00:20:16This is a high school, Will, not Starbucks.
00:20:18Yeah, I know.
00:20:19Starbucks pays better.
00:20:20Ha, ha, ha, you're here.
00:20:27You look tired, Will.
00:20:30Did sarcasm class last night?
00:20:33I thought you were teaching that class now.
00:20:35At least he's teaching something.
00:20:38I couldn't sleep.
00:20:38I was up at 4 a.m. trying to get some work done.
00:20:40You still writing that book?
00:20:41Yeah, I'm still writing that book.
00:20:42I should have just taken another's attics and went back to bed, though.
00:21:05We should talk maybe.
00:21:07It's one of those days you really remember, you know?
00:21:10I'd like to take some of this day with me.
00:21:12Listen, this is what I was thinking.
00:21:13You spend four years waiting for the day to come.
00:21:16The day to get out of here.
00:21:18You start your life, you become a grown-up.
00:21:20Robin.
00:21:21And the day comes and you're like, where the hell did all the time go?
00:21:23Four years, Kev.
00:21:25Four years.
00:21:26I'm with you 100%.
00:21:27What happened?
00:21:30Kevin, what happened?
00:21:31What happened?
00:21:42Where the hell are my keys?
00:22:00Have you seen my keys?
00:22:01I don't know, Ma.
00:22:02Did you check your purse?
00:22:02Did I check my purse?
00:22:03Did I?
00:22:03Did I check my purse?
00:22:05Shit, they're not in here.
00:22:07Just relax.
00:22:08Have a cup of coffee.
00:22:09Like I need another cup of coffee.
00:22:12What am I supposed to do?
00:22:14You're supposed to get your shit together.
00:22:16And don't just mean your keys in your purse.
00:22:17And you're supposed to catch the bus and make it to work.
00:22:19You'll find your keys when you come home tonight.
00:22:22You think so?
00:22:24I'm sure of it.
00:22:24Sometimes I wonder which one of us is the kid and which is the adult.
00:22:31I'm sorry.
00:22:32I'm a bad mom.
00:22:33Not mom.
00:22:34No, if your father were still here, things would be different.
00:22:36They would.
00:22:38I believe you.
00:22:40Before he left, I swear.
00:22:41I was un...
00:22:41Ma, you should get going.
00:22:43The bus usually runs slow.
00:22:44And why should Judy cover for you if you can make it in on time?
00:22:46Save the favor for another day.
00:22:49Okay.
00:22:50You're right.
00:22:51Makes sense.
00:22:52I really do love you, Ma.
00:22:53You never say it first.
00:23:01I love you too, Barry.
00:23:03I love you like crazy.
00:23:06I'm sorry.
00:23:07I really wanted to help take care of this for you, though.
00:23:10It's okay.
00:23:11I can take care of it on my own.
00:23:14Okay.
00:23:23What's this?
00:23:31That's your future.
00:23:31I told Gus Flint you'd give him a call over the weekend.
00:23:35Who the fuck is Gus Flint?
00:23:37Hey!
00:23:38When did I give you permission to start cursing in this household, huh?
00:23:41Well, if I'm going to be treated like an adult around here, then I should be able to say what I want.
00:23:47Fair enough.
00:23:49But you get out of line with it, and my hand comes across your mouth.
00:23:54So, who's Gus Flint?
00:23:57Huh?
00:24:00He owns my construction company.
00:24:03He said he'd give you a job.
00:24:05Carrying bags of cement.
00:24:06It'll put some muscle tone on you.
00:24:11Jesus Christ.
00:24:12Last time I saw arms like that, they were in a coffin.
00:24:15But you know what?
00:24:17Gus is a good man.
00:24:19And if you hunt bags of cement for him for a couple months, he'll give you a try out on heavy equipment.
00:24:24So don't try to snake yourself out of it here, huh?
00:24:26You already said yes.
00:24:28Really?
00:24:31Hey!
00:24:33When did I say yes?
00:24:35You weren't there.
00:24:37You know what, Dad?
00:24:41I'm stronger than you think.
00:24:44Yeah?
00:24:45What are all those red marks on your face, son?
00:24:49Hickeys?
00:24:51I'm stronger than you think.
00:24:54Yeah.
00:24:56I'll believe it when I see it.
00:25:01Call the fucking number.
00:25:02Yeah.
00:25:02Let me ask you something, Wix.
00:25:29What's your question, Vanessa?
00:25:32My name is Mrs. Jones.
00:25:34I know.
00:25:40Why, Wix?
00:25:42Just tell me why.
00:25:44Why?
00:25:44Why?
00:25:45Z, Z, Z, Z.
00:25:46What are we doing the alphabet here?
00:25:48You want to try numbers next?
00:25:49Oh, you want to try numbers?
00:25:51Well, try this one.
00:25:53You scored over 1,400 on your SATs.
00:25:56Did you know that?
00:25:57I opened my mail.
00:25:58Well, your teachers suspect you are a near genius IQ, but of course, you're not in class often enough to tell.
00:26:04Sometimes the day just gets away from me.
00:26:07You mean business gets in your way, don't you?
00:26:10That too.
00:26:22Vanessa, are you looking to score?
00:26:24What do you mean?
00:26:25Because whenever you want, I got it.
00:26:26And if not, give me a day and I can get it.
00:26:29Just shut up and stand up.
00:26:32Stand up!
00:26:33Oh, fuck, Rick, I used to do that shit all the time, man.
00:26:41Fuck, some of those Frank Herman stories are fucking legendary, man.
00:26:44Yeah, you think?
00:26:46Nah, fuck, man.
00:26:47I never did nothing too bad to nobody.
00:26:54What, lad?
00:26:55He's right.
00:26:56Nothing too bad.
00:26:57I got this bastard to carry the torch, huh?
00:27:00Just keeping the tradition alive, man.
00:27:04Little whiny, skinny fucks.
00:27:06Can't throw a ball and drink no beer.
00:27:10Tapping away on your little computers.
00:27:14Just learning.
00:27:15Shit, man.
00:27:16Some of those kids should just wear a fucking kick me sign on the back, you know?
00:27:20Make it easier on us.
00:27:22Yeah.
00:27:25Who are the kids you fuck with, Ricky?
00:27:27Huh?
00:27:28Shit, dick.
00:27:34What is that?
00:27:35Shit, dick?
00:27:35What are you writing on your letter?
00:27:37You got it shitty, dick.
00:27:38What's going on?
00:27:38Damn!
00:27:39Damn!
00:27:40Keep me alive!
00:27:41Keep me alive!

00:30:23Get out of here.
00:30:26What do you think?
00:30:35You want to start heading over there?
00:30:36First bell's going to ring in half an hour.
00:30:39What I want?
00:30:40What I wanted last week?
00:30:41What I wanted last night?
00:30:42What I wanted since we got here is to talk to you.
00:30:45What do you want to talk about, Kevin?
00:30:47Do you want to talk about names?
00:30:49For a boy, I like Jack.
00:30:51For a girl, I like Melissa.
00:30:53You want to talk about gender?
00:30:54Who cares as long as it's healthy, right?
00:30:55That's the rule.
00:30:56You want to talk about size?
00:30:57I was hoping for six pounds or less
00:30:58because I'm the one who has to squeeze it out
00:31:00from between my legs.
00:31:01Or do you want to talk about what the hell happens
00:31:03to the rest of my life,
00:31:05not to mention my body when this kid comes to town?
00:31:08Because the thought of giving up my 20s
00:31:10to spoon feed some rug rat
00:31:13is enough to make me want to fucking shake.
00:31:15What do you want to talk about, Kevin?
00:31:21I want to talk about whether or not
00:31:23we're going to have this baby.
00:31:28Oh, is that all?
00:31:32Look, Karen, I'm...
00:31:34I'm sorry I'm trying to think
00:31:36how to say this here.
00:31:37Just say it, Tommy.
00:31:39Just be honest.
00:31:41Okay, look.
00:31:45We're about to graduate, right?
00:31:48Move on to college.
00:31:49We're going to start experiencing new things.
00:31:52Meet new people.
00:31:54Kind of wave goodbye to our old lives
00:31:56and hello to a different one.
00:31:58Tommy, what is all this old stuff, new stuff?
00:32:01Well, look, Karen, we've been together now
00:32:05for three years, right?
00:32:07It's a long time.
00:32:08I think maybe we should...
00:32:09Are you freaking up with me?
00:32:10Look, I just think we should...
00:32:12Are you freaking up with me?
00:32:15Yeah.
00:32:18What?
00:32:19I said yes.
00:32:23You're serious?
00:32:26Yeah.
00:32:28This is because I won't sleep with you, isn't it?
00:32:31That's what this is all about?
00:32:33Look, Karen, I'm going to be 18
00:32:34in a couple of months, all right?
00:32:35I'm older than you.
00:32:36By five months?
00:32:37Tommy.
00:32:39Tommy.
00:32:40Look, sweetie, maybe...
00:32:42Maybe we need to talk about this for a minute, okay?
00:32:45I know this couldn't have been easy for you.
00:32:48Not having sex.
00:32:50That was my idea.
00:32:52And because you loved me so much,
00:32:54you agreed to hold on to your virginity, too.
00:32:56I never thought about how hard this must be on you.
00:32:58Tommy, please don't get upset.
00:33:07It's okay.
00:33:10Karen, how could you be so naive?
00:33:13You want to strip down, turn around, bend over?
00:33:19You want to send the dogs in here to sniff my crotch?
00:33:22Easy there, Vanessa.
00:33:24Take this any further, and I'm going to have your house.
00:33:26Don't touch that.
00:33:29You know, to be honest with you,
00:33:30I'm really enjoying this side of you.
00:33:32Pleasure's mine.
00:33:36First it's free.
00:33:36What can I do you for?
00:33:37Sit down.
00:33:39What?
00:33:42Sit down.
00:33:46Come over here, stand up, sit down.
00:33:49Least you could do is say something it says.
00:33:52Do you know what this shit is doing to my school?
00:33:54You're a fucking guidance counselor, all right?
00:33:56You're not the mayor of Happy Town here.
00:33:58It's hardly your school.
00:33:59Well, it is more my school than it is your street corner.
00:34:01I got a list of names of people around here to say different.
00:34:04You're so bright, Wex.
00:34:08But pushing this shit on impressionable kids
00:34:11who are not as smart as you.
00:34:12Look, I give people a little grass, a little crank,
00:34:15something to put them on a nice little trip, all right?
00:34:18That's not much different than the one that you put them on.
00:34:20You help expand people's minds.
00:34:23So why?
00:34:24You have no idea what you're doing to these kids.
00:34:27Neither do you.
00:34:30Besides, what's the worst that can happen?
00:34:34Maybe.
00:34:54I have no idea what you're doing to these kids.
00:34:57Please.

00:35:28Ms. Jones' door is locked again.
00:35:30The door is always locked.
00:35:31Yeah, I know.
00:35:32What the hell goes on in there?
00:35:33I'd like to get an appointment with Ms. Jones.
00:35:36If not, I'd like to get an appointment with you, Ms. Weinberg.
00:35:39What do you think about that, huh, baby?
00:35:41Morning, Beth.
00:35:42Morning, Janice.
00:35:43Every morning of the last day of school is a good morning.
00:35:46What do you need, Beth?
00:35:47Is he in?
00:35:48Yes, he is, with Will Pratt.
00:35:49But I just got in there a couple of minutes ago,
00:35:52so go and look and see what he says.
00:35:53Okay, thanks, Janice.
00:35:55Last day.
00:35:56Last day.
00:35:59Come on in.
00:36:01Morning, Harold.
00:36:02Will.
00:36:03Hi, Beth.
00:36:04What do you have for me?
00:36:05Final absent reports of the year.
00:36:07Thank you.
00:36:08Last day.
00:36:15I'm sorry, Will.
00:36:16Harold, but when these calls come in, I have to look into it.
00:36:19Otherwise, I'm not doing my job.
00:36:21As opposed to me not doing mine?
00:36:23Nobody is questioning whether you do your job or not.
00:36:25Well, what are they saying?
00:36:27Maybe a little rough on the kids.
00:36:29Rough?
00:36:29As in I hit them?
00:36:30Not physically, Will.
00:36:32They think your criticism of the students' work is a little harsh.
00:36:35Harold, I teach creative writing.
00:36:37How do I do that unless I critique the work that they hand in?
00:36:40But it has to be evaluated on a fair scale.
00:36:42I think that's what these complaints are in response to.
00:36:45And that's what we have to explore.
00:36:47Explore all you want.
00:36:48What do you want to know?
00:36:51How's your book going well?
00:36:52Where'd you get this weed, Ricky?
00:36:57It's better than the shit I get.
00:36:59This guy wax.
00:37:00Are you?
00:37:01He's always holding.
00:37:02I think he grows it himself.
00:37:04Let me tell you, boys.
00:37:06Enjoy the rest of your time here, all right?
00:37:08You're going to miss it.
00:37:09Okay?
00:37:10It's good to know, little brother, the apple don't fall far from the tree.
00:37:14Pop's tree.
00:37:16Yeah.
00:37:17Yeah.
00:37:18Ricky's got a real knack with people.
00:37:20Yeah, he's a person-people.
00:37:24People-person, asshole.
00:37:28Hey, wait, wait.
00:37:29So, Frank, like, what's the craziest shit you ever did?
00:37:32I mean, craziest.
00:37:34Oh, man, I don't know.
00:37:36I don't think about that shit no more.
00:37:38Oh, come on, Frankie, tell us, man.
00:37:39We ain't got shit to do.
00:37:42Anything you bring to mind, Lenny?
00:37:45Snap out of it, Spicoli.
00:37:46These kids want his crazy story.
00:37:48They want a story about the craziest shit I did during my time here.
00:37:52Think about it.
00:37:55Slow White?
00:37:56I was thinking the same thing all along.
00:37:58Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:37:59What's Slow White?
00:38:00It's not a what.
00:38:02It's a who.
00:38:03Slow-well and Swy.
00:38:06The nickname was Slow White because she was kind of slow in the head.
00:38:09And, you know, I don't think she was retarded technically or nothing like that.
00:38:12But, uh, she was well on her way.
00:38:14Right, Lenny?
00:38:14He's right.
00:38:15He's right.
00:38:16Fuck, man.
00:38:19So, uh, listen, we were, uh, we were playing stickball with little Joe B's driveway.
00:38:24It was, uh, we used to always get out there after school, you know?
00:38:26So it was, uh, it was me, Joe, Dave, and, uh, this guy Jake.
00:38:31Jake, yeah.
00:38:32And, uh, so we'd be out there and, you know, his parents were always at work, so we'd always
00:38:37have the driveway free, right?
00:38:39And, uh, this one afternoon, we're finishing up a quick four innings, right?
00:38:43Getting ready to go inside, have a few real big Joe B's beers, you know what I'm saying?
00:38:48Went up rides.
00:38:51Slow White.
00:38:54She's about 16, same as us.
00:38:56She don't go to our school, I guess they, uh, you know, they ain't equipped to deal with
00:39:00her car.
00:39:02But, you know, she comes around, she's watching this play.
00:39:06And she might be kind of fucked up, right?
00:39:08But she's also got this mad killer body, you know what I'm saying?
00:39:13Like, whatever guy left out of her head, he slapped on her chest, you know what I'm saying?
00:39:16Like, boom!
00:39:19So she came by and, uh, you know, we're playing, we're finishing up.
00:39:23And I thought I'd be a nice guy.
00:39:25You know, I got a hot.
00:39:26I got a hot.
00:39:28So I'm like, hey, you want to come in?
00:39:31You want to have a beer?
00:39:32Oh, oh, whole face then up, right?
00:39:35Excited.
00:39:36It's the greatest thing that ever happened to her, right?
00:39:41So we end up in the basement.
00:39:42We're, uh, you know, we're knocking them back.
00:39:44We're feeling good.
00:39:45We got our 12.
00:39:45I got my 12 back.
00:39:46And, uh, Dave dropped some, some smooth tools.
00:39:55DJ Mix Master Dave.
00:39:57We couldn't, we couldn't resist this opportunity.
00:40:00We're like, listen, hey, Alice, uh, you know, we'd like to see some, you want to get up?
00:40:05You want to dance for us?
00:40:07Bam!
00:40:07Like that.
00:40:08Got up, started dancing, right?
00:40:10Oh, she's shaking a groove thing.
00:40:12Like, ah, ah, ah.
00:40:14She looked a little silly when I know the truth.
00:40:15You know, you can imagine the rhythm, but, uh, it was fucking funny, right?
00:40:19You know what I was complaining?
00:40:20It was fucking funny, right?
00:40:22So, uh, you know, we started dancing with her.
00:40:25You know?
00:40:27Well, everybody except Jay fucking got things right out, but, uh, you know, me, Joe, and
00:40:31Jay, we keep switching.
00:40:32We're spinning around the floor.
00:40:35We're feeling good.
00:40:37She looks good, too.
00:40:39And then Joe, crazy fuck, starts making out with her.
00:40:45Girl's not resistant, right?
00:40:46Girl is not resistant.
00:40:48So Joe takes her shirt off.
00:40:50No bra.
00:40:51Girl look, she was there for.
00:40:52Like, she's a fool.
00:40:53Like, she's not like, you know what I mean?
00:40:54I'm going over there.
00:40:55Has anything in my bra?
00:40:56You know, she's doing it, right?
00:40:57Full time.
00:40:59Then I get to laugh.
00:41:02I lay her down on the, uh, on the sofa.
00:41:12I put my hand between the legs.
00:41:18I, uh, when she starts to go wild, she's, I didn't need to feel how wet she was because
00:41:26I could smell it.
00:41:30She had this, this look.
00:41:32Put it, inside.
00:41:35She had this look.
00:41:41It was almost like a shock.
00:41:43Look.
00:41:44Like, like, like she wasn't expecting this.
00:41:46Like, this, this was a surprise.
00:41:53Then she just kind of had this, this blank expression.
00:41:57You know, like she was, she was, she was, she was really trying to concentrate, enjoy it.
00:42:07So then I go and I finish up.
00:42:11Dave hops out and he finishes up.
00:42:13Joe hops out and he finishes up.
00:42:15Man, man, we were some crazy fuckers that day.
00:42:17You know what I'm saying?
00:42:17You know what I'm saying?
00:42:17It was fucking wild.
00:42:18Wild fucking Wednesday.
00:42:20You know what I'm saying?
00:42:22So we send her off, you know, we tell her she shouldn't tell nobody about it.
00:42:24Don't keep it zipped.
00:42:25You know what I'm saying?
00:42:26And then, uh, you know, she talked, she told her parents, though.
00:42:29You know what I'm saying?
00:42:30But, you know, you can expect, that's all right.
00:42:32I guess she was kind of proud of it.
00:42:35But the cool thing about that chick, she never said who it was.
00:42:41She was discreet.
00:42:43I can appreciate that.
00:42:44Yeah, I heard about that.
00:43:01That was you?
00:43:02Yeah, man, it was.
00:43:08I heard that stickball bat got involved.
00:43:14Fuckin' rumors, man.
00:43:18It's just rumors, Ricky.
00:43:21So, uh, like I said, enjoy your time here while you can.
00:43:34Why are we walking this way?
00:43:36We can just double back and cut to the soccer field.
00:43:38Come on.
00:43:39Add a half mile to the trip.
00:43:42Why?
00:43:43For what?
00:43:44You know why and you know for what.
00:43:47Yeah.
00:43:49Well, that reason sucks.
00:43:51I'm sick of this shit, Barry.
00:43:52I know you are.
00:43:55What?
00:43:56No.
00:43:57I fucking mean it.
00:43:57I'm really sick of this.
00:44:00I'm home.
00:44:01I take shit from my father every stupid goddamn day.
00:44:05Like it was his second job.
00:44:08And there's nothing I can do about that.
00:44:10I come here.
00:44:11I take shit from these ignorant motherfuckers
00:44:14who shouldn't even be allowed to wipe my ass.
00:44:17Much less kick it over and over again.
00:44:19And there's nothing you can do about that either.
00:44:22Yeah.
00:44:22Well, I might argue with you on that.
00:44:24There's stuff that can be done.
00:44:25Okay, well, let's not start worrying about that now.
00:44:27We've got a couple more weeks left and then it's over forever.
00:44:32We really left our mark here, didn't we?
00:44:35That's 12 years of beatings and degrading bullshit.
00:44:39This crap's been going on since the first fucking grade.
00:44:41What's our legacy?
00:44:43We saw, we came, we got pissed on weekly.
00:44:49Fuck that.
00:44:51I don't know about you,
00:44:53but I'm going to walk where I want to walk, Barry.
00:44:56And if you had an ounce of respect for yourself,
00:45:01you'd walk right beside me.
00:45:03Like I said, we've got a couple more weeks left
00:45:04and then it's a fresh start.
00:45:06Forget about two weeks, okay?
00:45:07Forget about it.
00:45:08No one shits on Daniel Lynn ever again.
00:45:11You can believe that.
00:45:12Look at these boys.
00:45:19You knew they were here, didn't you?
00:45:21I'm just walking.
00:45:23What the fuck are you doing here, Danny?
00:45:25Hey, Danny.
00:45:26Hey, Danny.
00:45:27No, no, no.
00:45:27I'm chill.
00:45:28I'm chill.
00:45:29I just want to give you a hug.
00:45:30I just want to give you a high five.
00:45:31What's up, Lily?
00:45:32Oh, no.
00:45:33Daddy, you're too.
00:45:34Don't touch that face.
00:45:36I want to touch you, yo.
00:45:36It's a pretty face.
00:45:38Oh!
00:45:38Go, Dad.
00:45:39Let's go, Dad.
00:45:40He tripped.
00:45:41Are you okay?
00:45:42No, oh, calm down.
00:45:44Chill out, all right?
00:45:45Hey, we're just hanging out, man.
00:45:47What?
00:45:47What?
00:45:48It's nothing like that, Danny.
00:45:49Okay?
00:45:50It's nothing like that.
00:45:51We're just hanging out.
00:45:52Oh!
00:45:52Oh!
00:45:54Oh, you like a monkey?
00:45:56Oh, oh, you're tough.
00:45:58Ah!
00:46:00What?
00:46:02See what happened?
00:46:03What?
00:46:04What?
00:46:04Are you crying?
00:46:05No, don't be crying.
00:46:06No, no, no.
00:46:07See, this is what happens.
00:46:07What are you crying?
00:46:08Stay the fuck down.
00:46:12Stay the fuck down.
00:46:19See what happens?
00:46:20Oh, you stay down there.
00:46:22Don't cry.
00:46:23Fucking shit!
00:46:26What?
00:46:27Ah!
00:46:28Fuck!
00:46:30Wait, wait, wait.
00:46:31Wait, wait, wait.
00:46:32What?
00:46:33I'm sorry.
00:46:34I'm sorry.
00:46:35Fucking kill you.
00:46:36Leave me alone, okay?
00:46:37Huh?
00:46:37What?
00:46:38I'm sorry for what?
00:46:39I'm sorry.
00:46:39Just fuck off.
00:46:40Leave me alone!
00:46:41There it is, bitch.
00:46:47What are you going to do?
00:46:48Huh?
00:46:49What are you going to do?
00:46:50What?
00:46:52You little fucking mark?
00:46:53Are you going to grow up to be somebody?
00:46:55Huh?
00:46:56Who are you going to be?
00:46:57Who are you going to be?
00:46:59Who are you going to be?
00:47:01Huh?
00:47:01Where are you going?
00:47:02Where are you going?
00:47:03Get up!
00:47:03Hold on.
00:47:05You got to get up.
00:47:06Get up!
00:47:07That hurts!
00:47:23We've known each other for a long time, haven't we guys?
00:47:25Huh?
00:47:26I mean, there's a history here.
00:47:28I mean, a year from now, we're going to wonder where all these times went.
00:47:31You know what I mean?
00:47:33Hasn't it been fun though?
00:47:35Huh?
00:47:35¿No?
00:47:37No, no tienes que decirlo.
00:47:39No, no, no, no, no.
00:47:41No, no, no, no, no, no.
00:47:43Solo unos meses, chicos.
00:47:45Estaba confiado que no nos pasamos de nuevo.
00:47:47¿Sabes lo que?
00:47:49Y luego hay que irnos a la tierra.
00:47:51¿Sabes lo que?
00:47:53Esto es donde nos vamos a pensar.
00:47:57Es sagrado.
00:47:59Creo que es algo muy malo para hacer, ¿sabes?
00:48:03¿Verdad, Donnie?
00:48:05You're right, Ricky.
00:48:07You're right.
00:48:09I think something shitty should happen to you.
00:48:15Come on.
00:48:17No!
00:48:19No!
00:48:21No!
00:48:23You're gonna eat it.
00:48:25Ow!
00:48:27Come on.
00:48:29Eat it!
00:48:31No!
00:48:33Up here, look at it.
00:48:35Look at it.
00:48:36No!
00:48:37Watch you eat that shit.
00:48:39No!
00:48:40No!
00:48:41Oh!
00:48:42Oh!
00:48:43Oh!
00:48:44Oh!
00:48:45Oh!
00:48:46Oh!
00:48:47Oh!
00:48:48Oh!
00:48:49That's disgusting!
00:48:50Look at you!
00:48:51Look at you!
00:48:52Oh!
00:48:53Get him!
00:48:54Hey!
00:48:55Let's go for that walk.
00:48:58I am not a virgin.
00:49:00Don't look at me like I have three heads, okay?
00:49:04Look, I'm not exactly the exception to the rule here, Karen.
00:49:07Okay?
00:49:08This whole school fucks.
00:49:09All right?
00:49:10Everybody except for you.
00:49:11Why are you saying this?
00:49:12Because I'm not lying.
00:49:13Look, hey.
00:49:14We always promise to tell each other the truth, right?
00:49:15I kind of let that slide for a little while.
00:49:16And now I'm being straight with you.
00:49:17Oh!
00:49:18Oh!
00:49:19Oh!
00:49:20Oh!
00:49:21Oh!
00:49:22Oh!
00:49:23Oh!
00:49:24Oh!
00:49:25Oh!
00:49:26Oh!
00:49:27Oh!
00:49:28Oh!
00:49:29Oh!
00:49:30Oh!
00:49:31Oh!
00:49:32Oh!
00:49:33Oh!
00:49:34Oh!
00:49:35Oh!
00:49:36Oh!
00:49:37Oh!
00:49:38Oh!
00:49:39Oh!
00:49:40Oh!
00:49:41Oh!
00:49:42Oh!
00:49:43Oh!
00:49:44Oh!
00:49:45Oh!
00:49:46Oh!
00:49:47Oh!
00:49:48Oh!
00:49:49Oh!
00:49:50Oh!
00:49:51Oh!
00:49:52Oh!
00:49:53Oh!
00:49:54Oh!
00:49:55Oh!
00:49:56Oh!
00:49:57Oh!
00:49:58Oh!
00:49:59Oh!
00:50:00Oh!
00:50:01Oh!
00:50:02Oh!
00:50:03Oh!
00:50:04Oh!
00:50:05Oh!
00:50:06Oh!
00:50:07No, no, no, no.
00:50:37No, no, no, no.
00:51:07Unhappiness glass face down in the gutter.
00:51:09Kill them all.
00:51:11You are the one.
00:51:12I will let the sky wake it from its sleep.
00:51:16Are those really your feelings you've put down on paper?
00:51:20That is so silly.
00:51:22Life is a portrait of an artist?
00:51:26Don't waste our time.
00:51:30It will no true darkness do not be dark.
00:51:32Black. Black is me.
00:51:34What am I going to do with you, X?
00:51:36Well, I can call the cops and turn you in for all this shit lying on my desk.
00:51:41I could do that.
00:51:42But what is that really going to accomplish?
00:51:45You spend some time locked up.
00:51:47All it does is you take two steps farther away from recognizing
00:51:51you can do more with your life than to shovel this crap into kids.
00:51:57We don't want that.
00:51:58So I guess our only choice here is to let me go.
00:52:03I guess so.
00:52:06But the dope stays here.
00:52:08It's not a problem.
00:52:09No, that is the problem.
00:52:11What do you care?
00:52:13They pay you nothing here.
00:52:15You get no respect from the people you're trying to help.
00:52:18It sounds like a shit job.
00:52:19I get more out of whatever I can give these kids
00:52:22than you'll ever get out of your mind.
00:52:24Fuck.
00:52:28I gotta get going.
00:52:30Homegrown start soon.
00:52:31I gotta see if the dog ate my homeworks.
00:52:33Oh, well.
00:52:34For some reason, I'm guessing he probably did.
00:52:38Fucking dogs.
00:52:40Yeah.
00:52:40Thanks for your time, Vanessa.
00:52:47Tell you what.
00:52:48You keep the wheels of education spinning,
00:52:51I'll keep them greased.
00:52:59I'm sure it's not easy.
00:53:00You're trying to teach kids how to write.
00:53:02Something you're lacking confidence
00:53:04on your own ability to do right now.
00:53:06It's like telling a math teacher
00:53:07who doesn't know how to carry the one.
00:53:08Yours is a class with a lot of gray area.
00:53:12It's not just two plus two.
00:53:13So what do we do now, Harold?
00:53:16We need to have this conversation.
00:53:19And then I'll let you get back to your job.
00:53:22I'm not here to screw up your world, Will.
00:53:24I happen to think you're a very talented teacher.
00:53:27And from what I can gather
00:53:28and from what you have shown me,
00:53:29I would venture to guess
00:53:30that you're a talented writer as well.
00:53:32Thank you.
00:53:33But I also know that there's an innate jealousy
00:53:35and rivalry among writers
00:53:37that I have to make sure
00:53:38stays out of your classroom.
00:53:40These kids are not your peers, Will.
00:53:42I know that.
00:53:43They're not your competition.
00:53:44I know that too.
00:53:56Where did you get those?
00:53:58Off your desk, Will.
00:53:59Why didn't you just ask me?
00:54:00I'm asking now.
00:54:01And don't look at me
00:54:04like I don't have the right
00:54:05because I do.
00:54:08I think some of these
00:54:09are graded unfairly, Will.
00:54:11And I want you to tell me why.
00:54:14Look, we have certain options here
00:54:16I think we need to start thinking about.
00:54:17We don't need to make a decision
00:54:18right this second.
00:54:19But we've been letting this lie
00:54:21for too long.
00:54:21We should start thinking about...
00:54:22Wee, I didn't realize
00:54:23this was such a wee situation.
00:54:26Well, I do feel like
00:54:27we're both responsible for the...
00:54:28That's funny,
00:54:28because when I was throwing up
00:54:29early this morning,
00:54:31I thought I was alone.
00:54:32I'm sorry, were you there?
00:54:36You sound like a fucking lawyer.
00:54:39You know,
00:54:39I worked my ass off
00:54:41for ten years
00:54:42to get into Wellington.
00:54:43I know.
00:54:44Extra homework,
00:54:45extra ass kissing.
00:54:46There's nothing to stop you
00:54:47from going to Wellington.
00:54:48I beg to differ.
00:55:02I brought some money
00:55:03in case that's the way it went.
00:55:08You did?
00:55:10I wanted to be prepared.
00:55:15Familiar with the phrase
00:55:16too little, too late?
00:55:18So what happened to her?
00:55:21What happened to who?
00:55:23Slow white.
00:55:25When you guys are all finished,
00:55:26what happened to her?
00:55:29I don't know, man.
00:55:31I guess she went back
00:55:33to her thing, you know?
00:55:34Just riding her bike
00:55:35around town,
00:55:37giving people hugs,
00:55:38you know?
00:55:41She never came.
00:55:44Watched you play stickball again,
00:55:45did she?
00:55:47No.
00:55:48I told you, man.
00:55:49She didn't go to our school,
00:55:50so she didn't really,
00:55:51you know,
00:55:52come around.
00:55:58Pop know that story?
00:56:00Uh, yeah.
00:56:02It happened this September
00:56:03before I was in the hospital.
00:56:04I used to tell Pop all my stories.
00:56:07What did he say?
00:56:09He said it was something
00:56:10him and his friends
00:56:10might have done.
00:56:11You said that?
00:56:15Yeah.
00:56:16Listen,
00:56:18Pop was a real fucking
00:56:19hell raiser, man.
00:56:21Fucking like.
00:56:23Just like me.
00:56:25Just like you.
00:56:28Ample don't fall far,
00:56:29little brother.
00:56:30You guys got some set of balls,
00:56:34I'll tell you that much.
00:56:36Do they have balls, Jeff?
00:56:38I don't know, Rick.
00:56:40Do they?
00:56:41I don't know.
00:56:46I think they do.
00:56:47I mean,
00:56:48I really don't know.
00:56:52Let's see.
00:56:55You're balls.
00:56:56Maybe I was wrong.
00:57:14I don't know.
00:57:15So what's up with you two, man?
00:57:17You're obviously not showers.
00:57:20Let's see if you're growers.
00:57:24What?
00:57:26Get it up.
00:57:45Mary?
00:57:47Oh, my God.
00:57:48What the hell happened to you?
00:57:49Just leave me alone.
00:57:49What the hell happened to you?
00:57:51Just leave me alone.
00:57:56What the hell happened to you?
00:58:03Talk to me, Danielle.
00:58:07Nothing.
00:58:11Oh, pussy.
00:58:17Hey, Daniel.
00:58:18Hi.
00:58:18He's upstairs.
00:58:19What did you do to your face?
00:58:20Oh, yeah, it's, um, it doesn't do that.
00:58:23What?
00:58:23Thank you.
00:58:28No.
00:58:30Why couldn't we?
00:58:32Why?
00:58:34Okay, we're not.
00:58:36Okay, I'm not.
00:58:38We're not those kind of guys.
00:58:40What kind of guys?
00:58:41Guys that decide to stop taking abuse?
00:58:46Guys that take control of their own lives?
00:58:49What kind of guys are we, Barry?
00:58:53Me?
00:58:54I'm the kind of guy whose father likes to laugh at him
00:58:57when he comes home with cuts on his face.
00:59:02If he isn't too busy putting new ones on himself.
00:59:04Then I get to go to school and smear shit on myself.
00:59:10And you?
00:59:12What kind of guy are you?
00:59:15The kind of guy whose father walks out on him
00:59:17while he's still in short pants.
00:59:20The kind of guy who cowers in the corner
00:59:23and leaves absolutely no impression on anything.
00:59:26Nobody gives a fuck about me, Barry.
00:59:28And you know what?
00:59:29No one gives a fuck about you.
00:59:32Except me.
00:59:34I'm the only friend you've ever had.
00:59:38Right or wrong?
00:59:41You're right.
00:59:44What pleasures do you have in your life?
00:59:49Has high school taught you anything
00:59:51except how much this world blows?
00:59:53That expression's true.
00:59:54Life does suck and then you do die.
00:59:56It's what you do before then that matters.
00:59:58What mark you left.
00:59:59And since I could give a fuck
01:00:01whether or not I live or die,
01:00:03that's the only thing that I care about.
01:00:09What is that?
01:00:12I want those motherfuckers to know what they've done to me.
01:00:17I want them to feel it.
01:00:19And I want them to know that it's not okay.
01:00:23It's not okay.
01:00:24What kind of guys?
01:00:28You know what?
01:00:28The whole fucking world is going to be talking about us.
01:00:31About how we took a stand.
01:00:34About how we said no more.
01:00:37When we light up that fucking place,
01:00:39man, when it's their blood that's getting spilled
01:00:41as opposed to ours,
01:00:42everyone's going to know
01:00:43those are the kind of guys we were.
01:00:45Wait, the kind of guys we were?
01:00:49Yeah, the chances of us getting out alive aren't so great.
01:00:52What were you going to do with the rest of your life?
01:00:54Huh?
01:00:55What were you going to do that was going to be so special?
01:00:58Don't go developing dreams of grandeur on me now, Barry.
01:01:01You're not that guy.
01:01:02Where would we get them from?
01:01:11I know a kid whose uncle's a vet.
01:01:13And he's looking to unload.
01:01:16I can cover it.
01:01:19What are you thinking?
01:01:26Last day at school.
01:01:28First bell before homeroom.
01:01:32So?
01:01:35What are you going to say?
01:01:36What do you say?
01:01:39You're not going to punk out on me, are you?
01:02:02He didn't give you any problem at all?
01:02:14I don't care less about what I wanted them for
01:02:17so long as I gave them the money.
01:02:18It's called big business, Barry.
01:02:20I mean, it's time to grow up.
01:02:22What if the guy went and called the cops?
01:02:24What the hell are we going to do then?
01:02:25Will you relax?
01:02:26Listen, this happens all the time.
01:02:30It's harder to get a fake ID and more dangerous, believe me.
01:02:34So I'll be over soon.
01:02:39We should start heading over there.
01:02:41First bell's going to ring soon.
01:02:44I'd marry you.
01:02:48I'd marry you and have this baby.
01:02:49I would.
01:02:51Would that make a difference to you?
01:02:57I am going to take that waitress job.
01:03:01It's a couple of extra bucks for next year.
01:03:04Just think about it, okay?
01:03:05There was this one other girl
01:03:07not long ago, maybe, uh, was it two weeks?
01:03:12She was hanging out by the Lucky Mart by herself
01:03:14on, like, I don't know, was it Tuesday or Wednesday?
01:03:17I pulled up to her and asked if she wanted a ride, you know?
01:03:20She looked kind of grateful.
01:03:22She, uh, she goes to our school, but she's a loser.
01:03:25I don't want friends, you know?
01:03:27Doesn't get asked to go for rides too often, I bet.
01:03:31She had a decent body under all those creepy clothes.
01:03:33I mean, who knew I fucked her in the back of the truck here
01:03:36and then dropped her off at the store.
01:03:38I mean, hey, I could tell, though, right?
01:03:41Like, the way she looked at me, I had done the right thing.
01:03:44She, she looked so happy.
01:03:46She was almost pretty.
01:03:49I gave her that.
01:03:52Actually, I've given it to her four times so far, Karen.
01:03:55Sometimes I just drive by there late at night
01:03:57and she's always there.
01:03:59Guess the girl likes slushies.
01:04:01Why did you tell me all this?
01:04:04I don't know.
01:04:08Did you ever love me?
01:04:11Well, maybe for a couple weeks.
01:04:14I don't know you.
01:04:17Hey, Karen.
01:04:18I never really did.
01:04:22Hey, Karen.
01:04:24Karen.
01:04:26You're fucking teased.
01:04:27You guys ready for this?
01:04:32Oh, fuck.
01:04:34Ricky.
01:04:35What's up, man?
01:04:37Shrenko.
01:04:39What's up, dog?
01:04:41What did you mean before when you said enjoy your time here?
01:04:45Just that, yo.
01:04:46Shit doesn't get in better than it does here.
01:04:49Really?
01:04:50Is that a fact?
01:04:51Yeah, yeah.
01:04:52You know, I mean, at least here you can, you know, you can do stuff, you know?
01:04:56You can affect people's lives.
01:04:59You know, out there you're just another fucking number, man.
01:05:02You know, just working, chugging along, making a living.
01:05:05Some days, anyway.
01:05:06You know, I mean, I don't know.
01:05:08Exactly.
01:05:10You'll be here soon enough, and you'll see.
01:05:14What are you doing right now?
01:05:16Oh, man, I don't know.
01:05:18I just, uh, can't hang out here after 8.30.
01:05:20Fucking rent-a-cops always hassling me.
01:05:22You know, it's fun.
01:05:23I used to go to school with half these fucks.
01:05:25You know what I mean?
01:05:27Have some fun, man.
01:05:31Listen, Rick, Rick, Rick.
01:05:32You know, today, today's your last day.
01:05:36You give him some extra hell today.
01:05:39Because tomorrow, these little fucks,
01:05:43are gonna be the people you wish you were.
01:05:45You make them pay for that today.
01:05:48Am I right, Lenny?
01:05:49Yeah, Frank, you're right.
01:05:51You're right.
01:05:51See?
01:05:52You gotta make them pay.
01:05:57Oh!
01:06:00Leave me alone!
01:06:01There it is, bitch.
01:06:02Get up!
01:06:09Huh?
01:06:17Leave me alone!
01:06:23No, no, no, no, no.

01:13:40¡Akkkk!
01:13:41¡Cease!
01:13:57Guys, before we get started...
01:14:01Before we get started, I'd like to talk about something.
01:14:05It's been brought to my attention that some of you think I've been overly critical of your work,
01:14:14of your writing, maybe even unfair.
01:14:18And I think you're right. I have been.
01:14:22So what I'd like to talk about is change, if I can.
01:14:26It's the last day of school, so maybe it's too late, I don't know.
01:14:29But I'm not so much a teacher that I can't apologize.
01:14:33And you are my students, you're just kids.
01:14:36And I don't mean that as an insult. It's the opposite, actually.
01:14:40And my job is to recognize that and to nurture it, and I didn't.
01:14:44I guess I forgot what it's like to be a high school student.
01:14:47And I don't want to be a part of anything that might discourage you
01:14:51or put you towards some sort of edge.
01:14:55So hey, guys, I'm sorry.
01:15:03Don't move. And don't fucking talk.
01:15:13I said, don't fucking talk. I'm going to talk.
01:15:17Me, do you understand?
01:15:20All right, not if you understand what I'm saying.
01:15:24Get on your knees.
01:15:27Get on your fucking knees!
01:15:28Why are you on your knees, Paul?
01:15:39Why are you on your knees, Paul?
01:15:41Huh? Is it because I got a gun in my hand?
01:15:44Does this gun scare you?
01:15:46You can do whatever you want to me.
01:15:48Insult me.
01:15:50Kick me.
01:15:50Shit on me.
01:15:52And the only thing I can do to get some fucking respect from you
01:15:54is to hold a gun on you?
01:15:56This is pathetic.
01:15:59And this is your fault.
01:16:04Me thought I was weak.
01:16:06I was weak now, huh?
01:16:08How weak am I now?
01:16:13They teach us, Deck.
01:16:16Man evolved from apes.
01:16:20I think that's wrong.
01:16:22I think man evolved from dogs.
01:16:27Don't fucking laugh at me.
01:16:30You know what happens when you kick a dog one too many times?
01:16:35Go ahead.
01:16:35You can answer that one.
01:16:36What happens when you kick a dog long enough?
01:16:40I don't know.
01:16:40They bite.
01:16:53They bite.
01:16:53Thanks, I couldn't have done this without you.
01:17:17Hey.
01:17:26Hey.
01:17:27Here comes a little fucker, man.
01:17:29Want to get some last legs and I'm with him?
01:17:32No, just leave him alone.
01:17:34Fuck that shit, man.
01:17:35One last time.
01:17:36Just leave him alone.
01:17:39What the hell?
01:17:40All right.
01:17:50All right.
01:17:51All right.
01:17:51All right.
01:18:10I love you.
01:18:18I love you.
01:18:25No!
01:18:28You bitch!
01:18:29Stop it!
01:18:31Leave me alone!
01:18:32They're dead!
01:18:34They're dead!
01:18:35Stop it!
01:18:36Stop it!
01:18:37Stop!
01:18:38Stop!
01:18:38Stop!
01:18:39Stop!
01:18:39Stop!
01:18:39Stop!
01:18:40Stop!
01:18:41Stop!
01:18:41Stop!
01:18:41Stop, Karen!
01:18:43She said, get out of Karen!
01:19:09¡Gracias!
01:19:39I did punk out on him.
01:19:41I don't know, maybe there are other ways to take a stand.
01:19:46I hope my kids, any kids, don't have to go through what we did.
01:19:54I lost my only friend on that last day of school.
01:19:58Now, the last word that we've received is that there are seven people confirmed dead,
01:20:02including one teacher, William Pratt, who taught creative writing.
01:20:05Now, police and ambulances arrived on the scene around 8.40 a.m.,
01:20:09about 10 minutes after the first shot was fired, but the damage was already done.
01:20:13The names of the two shooters have now been released.
01:20:15Dara McDermott, who is now in police custody,
01:20:18was taken down and held by senior student Donnie Preetsey,
01:20:21who is being hailed as a true hero.
01:20:22The other is Daniel Lynn, who committed suicide shortly after the first shot was fired.
01:20:27Now, Lynn is believed at this time to be the ringleader of the shooting,
01:20:30the fourth in the United States so far this year.
01:20:32The stark truth and frightening reality of the situation
01:20:35is that it is difficult to pinpoint where these events begin.
01:20:39Violent movies, video games, parental neglect,
01:20:42the availability of weapons could all be considered factors.
01:20:45But one thing that is clear,
01:20:47as long as there are brave people like Donnie Preetsey,
01:20:49there is hope for America's youth.
