00:00:36It's Morrell with the longer wingspan. He's actually a half inch taller than Benavidez.

00:00:45Morrell tried to give him a belt while he threw it at him.
00:00:48Wasn't exactly the gift he was looking for in their first press conference.
00:00:51But again, in their physical primes, 50-50 fight, undefeated fighters.
00:00:57This is something that has to happen a lot more often in the sport of boxing.
00:01:01It's happening here tonight.
00:01:02David Morrell brings a blend of sharp technique, Cuban boxing pedigree, and explosive power.
00:01:25Offensively, he lands 44% of his power punches, and he controls fights with precision.
00:01:32Defensively, proven to be a fortress, you guys. Landing just seven punches per round to land.
00:01:38And yeah, he didn't get the knockout in his first fight at 175 pounds against the double-toped Bosnian-American hot rod, Kalajic.
00:01:46But he also was under the blazing side of Los Angeles.
00:01:50Came out looking for the knockout in the first five rounds.
00:01:53Wasn't able to get it, and maybe slowed down a bit, but he still scored the win.
00:01:57And he's still undefeated.
00:01:59And he's still looking to plant his flag in the light heavyweight division here tonight.
00:02:04Morrell is as dynamic and as opponent as Benavidez has faced in his career.
00:02:08And let's not forget, Morrell has wanted the smoke ever since turning pro.
00:02:12He fought for a title in just his third fight.
00:02:14And tonight, we find out the answers of whether he can hang in the kitchen in the second half when Benavidez makes it hot.

00:03:08He did it with an injured knuckle in his left hand, torn tendons in his right hand, suffered a cut in sparring.
00:03:15But again, because he didn't get the knockout.
