Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi was awarded the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the nation's highest civilian honor, during his visit to the twin island.

The recognition was announced by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar who hailed PM Modi's visit as a moment of shared pride and deep historical connection.
