00:00This colourful community event, as bright and bustling as ever.
00:07With some unexpected wind gusts last night.
00:09A storm came in this morning, about midnight, 20 minutes in.
00:14It took all the gazebos out, wiped all our stock out.
00:17But not enough to blow the show off course.
00:20It wasn't a fun thing to arrive to this morning, but we all worked as a team
00:24and we've got everything back up and running and gates are open and ready to go.
00:27More than 20,000 people will visit the show this year, drawn by the animals, exhibits and displays.
00:33A giant giraffe that we've just seen walk past us before.
00:37We've got the Outback Jack Stockman show on the oval.
00:42We've got bubble muffin cooking demonstrations.
00:46The lucky ones taking pride in their winner's ribbons.
00:49You got the best black and white photo. How do you feel?
00:53I'm excited because it's an open one, so it's not with all the kids anymore.
00:58It's all adults now, so that's pretty cool.
01:01Others keen on the carnival rides.
01:03Oh yeah, I like the Ferris wheel.
01:06Why is the Ferris wheel so good?
01:08Because it takes you up in the sky and I like aviation.
01:12Everything moving smoothly, thanks to the hard work of organisers.
01:17With such a long list of attractions, there really is something for everyone at the Alice Spring Show.
01:23It's no surprise that it's so well attended and it is one of the sweetest community events.
01:29It's also good just to see the community spirit and the volunteers that run the show.
01:34The gates open again tomorrow at 9am.
