Tripura CM Manik Saha flags off ambulances, launches Vehicle Tracking System in Agartala

Agartala (Tripura), July 2, 2025 (ANI): In a major move to boost road safety and emergency response in Tripura, the state Transport Department held a grand event at Swami Vivekananda Maidan, Agartala. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha flagged off 16 Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances aimed at improving critical care during the "golden hour" of road accidents. The state also launched a Vehicle Location Tracking and Monitoring System to enhance oversight of public and emergency vehicles. Top officials, including Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and DGP Anurag Dhankar, reaffirmed the state’s commitment to “Safe Drive, Save Life.”
