00:42mets will be fine uh there's no panic for me but at the same time i think the mets have to be careful

00:54years of 63 innings and now uh in terms of innings we've already crossed 88 for him so he's starting

01:00to wear down a little bit you've had multiple injuries now singa uh mcgill and now recently

01:05griffin canning to this rotation and i know sterns is a genius finding these arms bringing them in

01:09and jeremy heffner being able to get what he's been able to get out of them the last couple years

01:14you saw the success of severino the success of sean mania now hopefully you get mania back soon

01:20hopefully you get sanga back soon i think you have to ask yourself the question along with

01:24peterson is that enough is frankie montas really that answer i i was stunned by his five scoreless

01:29innings against the braves i was less surprised about his performance on sunday against the pirates

01:34that's the montas i was expecting and i think for steve cohen he's got a window here in the next year

01:39and two where you've got alonzo you've got soto you've got lindore you've got a real opportunity and

01:46you know he's going to be aggressive so whether sterns wants to or not i wouldn't be shocked if

01:50the owner overrules here and goes out and gets some kind of star the question is who is that going

01:54to be would have to take maybe the texas rangers falling out of things for a big time arm like jacob

01:59de grom to become available otherwise it's the edward cabreras and sandy alcantras of the world and

02:03i don't know if the mets view those guys as different makers with the way alcantras especially
