00:00And with the first stage complete, the top two vote gators are already in.
00:05That means Aaron Judge and Otani, not that we didn't know they were going to be there anyway,
00:08but they are officially in the All-Star Game representing the AL and the NL.
00:12As far as who else is going to be voted in by the fans, well, they are now in Phase 2 of that,
00:19which means the top two guys at each position now, you can only vote for the two of them to see who gets the spot.
00:25First base, Vlad and Goldschmidt. Second base, Torres and Jackson Holliday.
00:30Shortstop, Jacob Wilson, Bobby Witt. Third base, Jose Ramirez, Alex Bregman.
00:34Catcher, Cal Raleigh and Alejandro Kirk. D.H., Ryan O'Hearn and Rice-Aroni.
00:40And outfield will be for two spots, Green, Baez, Trout, and Steven Kwan for the AL.
00:45Those are the AL final guys.
00:48And Trout is in there, isn't he?
00:51He is. So, two of those four, you can vote for to be in the All-Star Game.
00:58So, I would assume. Now, Riley and Baez had the most in the initial go-through, but everything kind of starts over.
01:05Please.
01:05Trout will be getting one of those two spots.
01:09Just stop. I mean, come on.
01:11Like, I can't even have that conversation, Baez over Mike Trout. Just stop.
01:17No.
01:17But Mike Trout's actually healthy right now.
01:20Can we get him in the All-Star Game? Because when the guy plays, he rakes.
01:25He does.
01:26As far as the NL goes, the Dodgers have a chance to get a starter at every position.
01:31I think they have somebody everywhere.
01:34Freddie Freeman, Tito Alonso at first.
01:36Tommy Edmond, Quetel Marte at second.
01:38Mookie Betts, Francisco Lindor at short.
01:41Max Muncy, Manny Machado at third.
01:43Will Smith, Carson Kelly at catcher.
01:45And then you see Teoscar and Baez are there as well.
01:49But PCA, Acuna Jr., Kyle Tucker, Juan Soto also, because it's three spots that are available in the NL for the field.
01:58So if you were voting right now and you know what PCA and you know what Tucker have done, but now Soto has put up the exact same numbers that he had with the Yankees at this time last year, are you not putting Soto in?
02:17Again, the most dangerous hitter in baseball, he's not getting into the All-Star game.
02:22Well, this, again, as he probably will, this is just being voted in as a starter.
02:28If I had to pick three of those, those are my only six choices.
02:32Right.
02:32I think it's PCA, it's Tucker, and it's Soto.
02:37There you go.
02:38Are the three guys.
02:39Now, there's a name not there that I actually think is having a better year than almost everybody on that list, except probably, it's probably even with PCA.
02:48And honestly, that's the Wood Doctor.
02:50And I know he's probably going to make it because every team gets, every team gets a rep.
02:56So you know he's going to be in the game as like a reserve or whatever.
02:59But he is having an incredible James Wood for the Washington Nationals.
03:05So he should be there as well, obviously, with the voting, the fan voting, he didn't get there.
03:11But in reality, he will be there by the time they get to Atlanta coming down the pipe.
03:16Good news for the Home Run Derby, Cal Raleigh will be in it.
03:20So the guy who's got the most jacks this year.
03:23So Acuna and Raleigh, we know, are in it.
03:26Yeah.
03:26I thought there was one other guy who said he was in it as well, but I can't remember that off the top of my head.
03:31But we know that Raleigh and Acuna are going to be there.
03:33I did see today that Ellie said no.
03:36They asked Ellie De La Cruz, and he said no, thank you, that he didn't want to be in the Home Run Derby.
03:42So I know he said no, Judges said no, Otani has said no.
03:45Those guys always say no.
03:47So there you go with that.
03:48Let me get you in these.
03:49I didn't finish these with you yesterday.
03:50These guys are so painful.
03:52I don't see why, you know, it really is.
03:54It's gotten to the point where they're so painful to get them to do it.
03:56They should just stop doing it.
03:58Stop doing the stupid Home Run Derby if nobody wants to do it.
04:01I mean, it's really painful watching all these star players turn it down.
04:07Like, I really, like, if you're not in the top 10 of the homers at the All-Star break, you probably shouldn't be in the Home Run Derby.
04:16I think it should be, if you're not, you know, those are the guys that should be in.
04:20Whoever's having the best year hitting homers.
04:22But the problem is so many guys say no.
04:25You should just make them do it, Mike.
04:27I think the commissioner should make, like, top 12 guys, however many are in this stupid thing to begin with.
04:35I don't know how many that they let in it.
04:37Let's say, hypothetically, because I don't know.
04:39Let's say it's 12.
04:41They should just pick the 12 best Home Run hitters in the game.
04:44And if you don't, there's just no options.
04:48It's, you know, you're doing it.
