00:14Today I'm inside Upside Down House,

00:17where gravity takes a holiday and your imagination takes flight.

00:20This is like a photo attraction,

00:23so it's basically a house that's tipped upside down.

00:25You go around, take a walk on the ceiling,

00:28take some quirky photos.

00:30Whether you're a content creator hunting for your next post

00:33or a family looking for a day out,

00:35this place might just turn your frown upside down.

00:39When I'm in the house or any staff,

00:41we try and get through as many people as we can.

00:44If people don't need help, we leave them to it,

00:46but if most people do...

00:48Inside each room is packed with optical illusions

00:51and mind-bending design,

00:52all curated by their in-house, no pun intended,

00:56creative design team.

00:57And here in Liverpool, there's some exclusive twists.

01:02In this house, we have, once you walk in,

01:05you've got a football area.

01:06So for all the football fans in Liverpool,

01:09you've got like, you know, Everton, Liverpool.

01:11Then you're going in and you see the Beatles area.

01:14So you could pretend you're doing a handstand on like a stool.

01:18You could pretend you're playing the drums upside down.

01:20And you take your left into the bathroom

01:22and you've got a toilet, a bath.

01:24You can pretend to dive into the toilet.

01:26Looks quirky.

01:27The attraction invites guests of all ages

01:30to let loose, snap away and walk on ceilings.

01:34Since the launch of the first Blue House in Bournemouth

01:37back in 2018,

01:39upside down have expanded across the UK

01:41and worldwide, including sites in France,

01:44Germany and Australia.

01:45But this is the only one here in the north-west

01:48and it's been turning Liverpool upside down

01:50for over a year.

01:51A lot of people get confused about it,

01:53but that's why we're there to help.

01:56It's not just about the fun.

01:58The attraction partners with charities

01:59supporting the likes of nature,

02:02young people and the vulnerable.

02:04My favourite part is the people you meet

02:05and we have a lot of tourists that come.

02:08Each house is unique,

02:09often featuring artwork from local artists

02:11and special themes throughout the year,

02:13from haunted houses at Halloween

02:14to festive grottos at Christmas.

02:17To be fair, kids love it.

02:19You see some adults, they tend to love it or hate it.

02:22It's mostly positives

02:25because once you know the vibe

02:27and how to take the pictures correctly,

02:29then it's more like you're in it

02:32and you're locked in.

02:33If you're looking to flip your perspective

02:35and capture some crazy moments,

02:37you'll find upside down house at Liverpool One,

02:40a custom place right between John Lewis

02:41and the Hilton Hotel.

02:43I balance myself out.

02:45I'm pretty good on my two feet on flat ground,

02:47so a wonky floor won't really change it.

02:53depending on what side I stand.
