00:00I think it's the railway system, because Liverpool were one of the first in the world.
00:10The Otterspool Promenade, I know people have heard about it, but it tends not to get talked about much.
00:16It's a lovely walk from the city centre along the front to there.
00:21The City Soldiers Exhibition in the Museum of Liverpool, which really brings to life some of our past history and
00:30reminds you of all the departures from Liverpool in all the wars over a couple of centuries.
00:37And also the idea that people stood by those railings waiting for people to come back who maybe never did.
00:43Parts around the Georgian Quarter, like Hope Street, yeah, it's popular, people go there, but perhaps people don't talk about
00:52some of the buildings.
00:53It shows in Crown Street Park, where some of the original tunnels from the steam-made engines are still there,
01:04so we don't celebrate that enough.
01:05I've been on guided walks and tours of places that we think we know really well, like Dale Street, Castle
01:14Street, Hope Street, Chinatown.
01:16And I've learnt things that I never knew, and sometimes I think you need to look up and think,
01:24God, I must have walked past that a hundred times, I didn't realise how gorgeous that was, or the history
01:27behind it, or read up about it.
