00:00Do you remember the first time you called yourself an actor?
00:03It was probably in the 7th grade. I did a play. I said, I'm going to do this.
00:09And I did it. Learned the lines. We did the play with three performances like you do in school.
00:13I walked off the stage and I said, hey, I think my life has changed. I'm an actor.
00:18Tell me about the first day walking on set and there's Billy Bob Thorne.
00:21Oh my gosh. I mean, first off, he's been a hero of mine.
00:24I'm from southwest Missouri. I grew up in rural Missouri. He's from rural Arkansas.
00:28He was a regional hero to us growing up as far as theater kids, being an actor and trying to
00:33come to Hollywood and make it happen.
00:34So I had to get over those butterflies. But after that, you go right into the work.
00:38He makes it easy. I love going to work with him.
00:40He's such a classy, iconic fella and a hell of an artist. So it's a real pleasure.
