00:00the fact that this is the conclusion of this franchise i mean what were kind of the creative
00:04parameters that you set for yourself as far as like what you felt needed to be included in this
00:09movie versus stuff that maybe you could have put aside right well we felt the most important thing
00:15was to be able to say farewell to the cinematic um ed and lorraine in a way that felt emotional
00:23and that justified you know um the franchise and what fans have come to love about this
00:29particular series right you know i always say people come to the conjuring films for the scares
00:35but they really stick around for vera famiga and patrick wilson's right their version of ann and
00:41lorraine and uh and that was basically mission one was to uh be able to wrap up this series in
00:48a way
00:48that was emotional um and uh but one that also felt uplifting as well at the same time and uh
00:56and so
00:56you know so that was very important for us and and also obviously the case itself was very important
01:01and and with the case come the scares and all of that um and so you know we we kind
01:07of have a
01:07hierarchy of what we really wanted to hit
