00:00so what was it like to see the movie after acting opposite like tennis balls and stand-ins and other
00:05i leaned over to my missus and i was like
00:10that there was no water underneath that boat when we shot this and i'm questioning whether
00:18we did go out on the water because it looks so real you know the dinosaurs i know there
00:23were no dinosaurs there i can vouch for that but the the the boat work the vfx and everything was
00:28incredible and um you know when you're making it it doesn't feel that kind of incredible often and
00:36it doesn't feel that real you know emotionally you feel real and you're in this right place
00:41in your left brain or right by one side you've got the emotional state of being and you're in it
00:46but the other side of it you're trying to hit your marks you're you know making sure you're doing
00:49everything properly and you're aware like i'm in a studio in north london you know and
00:57other times i'll be like i'm on a boat on a gimbal in the middle of malta so you kind of you're aware
01:05of kind of how absurd it is what you're doing um and then when you watch it it is not in the slightest
01:11bit absurd it's incredible and it's movie magic and that's kind of the joy of the collaboration of
01:16this process is like you know they need me to go and do my bit however large or small it is in
01:22whatever role it is and you know play my part in the narrative to support the lead characters and
01:27everything like that and all of the characters but then we pass the baton and it goes into post
01:33production and all of these incredible artists take it and then it becomes um the sum of all of its parts
01:41um and that is what's so amazing about seeing it you know um yeah i see what i did but what i did is
01:49a small part of it and it's amazing and a privilege to work with all of these amazing artists and what
01:55was your relationship like with the jurassic park films and what do you think the fans will uh
02:01appreciate about this movie well when i was a kid i loved them when i was before i had kids i still
02:07watch them even as an adult then when i had kids i would just go and i buy all the toys i've been
02:12buying all the toys for years all of my nephews and nieces and kids love them so the amount i think
02:16i bankrolled this movie with the amount of toys i bought over the years um and i'm probably going
02:22to bankroll it buying my lego pieces as well for my kids this christmas but um but now yeah to become
02:30a part of it you know i don't know it don't really feel real does it you know what i mean it's like
02:35but it's amazing it's amazing i don't know it's it's a privilege that's not lost on me but at the
02:41same time i understand like it's all kind of smoke and mirrors as well and you know it's like it is
02:47what it is the movie's you guys now it's not mine anymore you know the shoot was mine now the movie's
02:52and it's like it's like it's not mine let's go on a nail give it cause like it is so it goes
