Steve Guy and the team at The Shrewsbury Food Hub, prepping a surplus pay as you feel community lunch.

00:00Hi, I'm Steve. I'm the Hungry Guy and I'm here in the Shrewsbury Food Hub at the moment.

00:05I work alongside this incredible charity working with community events

00:09and at the moment we're just prepping a load of veggies for a community page of field meal that we've got running on tomorrow.

00:15In the summertime I'm going to be at a few festivals doing some surplus food demonstrations.

00:19So it's all about using up food waste, preventing stuff going in the bin

00:23and being content with what you've got as opposed to maybe what you want.

00:28I'm going to be down in Carfest in Hampshire from the 22nd of August to the 24th

00:32which is a family orientated festival that is run by Chris Evans

00:38and is all about the community, having fun and all the proceeds go to amazing children's charities.

00:44So it's a really, really good thing to support.

00:46If you want to come down and watch me do my demo down there

00:48I'm going to be bringing whatever ingredients the food hub have in that weekend down to Hampshire

00:54and I'm going to be cooking up anything from 1 to 10 dishes in about half an hour depending on what's there.

00:59I'm going to be doing that.
