00:03:55Well, good afternoon.
00:03:56Here's the latest information on Tropical Storm Gordon.
00:03:58The last official position was at 24.1 north, 86.1 west.
00:04:03Winds now up to 70 miles per hour.
00:04:06Movement is still to the northeast at 9 miles an hour.
00:04:08It has slowed just a bit, but it's expected to maintain that track.
00:04:11Our pressure has dropped in the last couple of hours.
00:04:14That means some strengthening is going on at 984 millibars.
00:04:18And there are hurricane watches now.
00:04:19That means that hurricane conditions are likely here in the next 36 to 48 hours
00:04:25from Apalachicola all the way to Suwannee River.
00:04:28And a tropical storm morning goes further south than that.
00:04:31And that means they are likely to see that in the next 24, 12 to 24 hours.
00:04:35And we'll show you on our visible satellite picture, really give you a good idea.
00:04:39The center is right in this general area.
00:04:40You can see that most of the thunderstorms off to the north and east.
00:04:43So the eastern part of this tropical storm, which may become a hurricane, is off to the east.
00:04:49And that's where the strength of the storm is as well.
00:04:51This is, again, forecasted to track off to the north and east.
00:04:54But after that, a lot of the models take it in different directions.
00:04:57But the best guess right now is to continue that northeasterly track and be somewhere north of Tampa.
00:05:02And here is the National Hurricane Center track right now, the center right down there.
00:05:06And you can see northeasterly track.
00:05:08And then around 9 o'clock tomorrow, we'll be in this general area north of Tampa.
00:05:12Now, if it does maintain this track, that won't be too bad for us.
00:05:15We may see some coastal storm surge, maybe 3 to 5 feet.
00:05:18But it moves a little off to the west.
00:05:21And the storm surge can be as much as 8 to 10 feet in Appalachee Bay.
00:05:24So that can be a concern as well.
00:05:26Now, if it continues on this track, like we mentioned, the eastern or the western side of the storm itself
00:05:31will not be that bad as we'll see just some, probably some gusty winds as well as some light rain.
00:05:36And here's that rainfall now you can see down in here, still not reaching all the way to the eye
00:05:40of what is now Tropical Storm Gordon.
00:05:42We'll give you more updates during the game, but we'll not interrupt the game.
00:05:45We'll do it during the breaks.
